Major Kevin "Sajak" Donovan takes to the skies over Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst to fly a FANTASTIC in-your-face flight display featuring an F-15C Eagle. Sajak is a pilot of the 104th Fighter Wing, Massachusetts Air National Guard, and based at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield, MA. While the USAF disbanded their two F-15 Demo Teams in 2006 and 2009 and the F-15E Strike Eagle Demo Team more than ten years ago, the profile you see Sajak fly here is not an official profile approved by Air Combat Command, but it has been approved by 104th FW leadership. Nevertheless, this was an absolute treat to see an F-15 Eagle flying some sort of display at an airshow. This demo is much different than the one featured in the Friday video due to the cloud deck and after consulting with Sajak and providing some feedback. Following the conclusion of the demo Sajak climbed to altitude to head back to Barnes. Check out the opening high speed pass!

Howdy passed away suddenly on March 9, 2023, and his voice and contributions to the airshow industry should never be forgotten.

The music industry has increased its concern to ensure they are paid when copyrighted music is played. Therefore, the USAF requires any U.S. air show, civilian or military, hosting an Air Force aircraft performance which includes music secure the necessary music licenses for broadcast of pre-recorded copyrighted music over public address systems. For the 2023 airshow season, the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) has negotiated a deal that will allow issuance of music licenses for ICAS member air shows for all three US music licensing organizations: ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC. Each ICAS member air show is eligible for a single package of the three music licenses for one air show at the cost of $875. The rate applies only to music broadcast over the public address system during the air show portion of the program and does not provide the show with the right to use prerecorded music at concerts or other non-air show special events held in conjunction with the air show.
