It's the little things sometimes that make such a big difference... It looks a little goofy to you now, but once your brain re-stores the image of your bike, it'll not even be noticable... With the added benefit of no decapitation... Which is nice... :D

Been a fan of the channel for a year. Also have an R7 and used your vids for mod installs. Just got a KLR base. And did the same mod today. Is your windscreen squeaking? Mine is, and i think its just the windscreen to windscreen mount. not the risers? Thinking of trying rubber washers to replace the plastic. Not sure if i overtightened them or what, but the squeaking is not fun. The might just be off a hair. not sure

Nice dude and congrats on the KLR! Mine is definitely not squeaking and I would say your probly right with the over tightening. I over tighten a little bit the first time I adjusted the mirror up and it smashed the plastic washers pretty good. The little rubber mounts don't need to be very tight at all as I learned the first time

@@ScoutsOut I did end up using rubber washers just to be sure and it worked well. Also, under the right black guard (top of right fairing), there was sqeaking as well. Loosened up the fairing and put about 10 layers of vinyl tape where they touched on top of the painted tape, and it got rid of 95% of the noise. Not sure if you've noticed it as well.

just went out and tried to make my rattle and didn't notice any rattling on any of the front and side fairings, thats weird

@@ScoutsOut Could be the ADV model difference, or just built at different times. Jammed 2 rubber washers under so they applied a tiny amount of outward preassure. Works just fine. Rubber washers seem to fix everything on a KLR

Haha I guess so, win win for rubber washers lol. I just bought a set to fix mirrors on another bike lol
