Kia Seltos S FWD is a sneaky way to get loads of space for little cash.

When Seltos popped out of the womb, it did so fully-formed. It was pretty and perky, and laden with gadgets and gizmos. Even the base model S has a smart electronic readout for driver instruments, making a 30 grand SUV look cool. It’s not the 10.25” LCD screen the rest of the range employs, but rather a smaller 4.2” screen with instruments that still look like an LCD readout. It is ingenious. Having said that, one has to wonder why the S is the only one in the range without the full digital dash, after all, it can’t cast that much to bung one in.
We took a turn in the country, finishing up at the farm, full of fun and frippery, and boxes of booze. There were 3 of us on board, with Max already being ensconced at his very own cosy, charismatic, country cottages.
For anyone thinking that a small SUV couldn’t take 3 gay guys on a bucolic adventure, Seltos did it with a smile. Sure, the cargo hold was crammed full, but even with a load on, Seltos was fun to drive.
