I couldn't agree more. And what's with the fast take offs they do, who's drag racing in a Kia stonic... It's a good like engine for fuel consumption and it will get you from a to b.
Cmon guys the car is rubbish. I had one for two days driving in Tasmania. It was the worst two days of my life. I can honestly say the MG is a better car.
I drive a Kia Stonic GT line, its my work car and I can tell you that what they are doing is just absolutely stupid. Car drives very nice, it has decent speed for a SUV like its class. Been very happy with it, so people who are looking into this car, do a test and dont listen to this. Maybe the car isnt that fast in the beginning because there are two well weighted guys in there;)
My car is the exact same colour and I LOVE IT!!!!....The rental companies kept buying them out and I had to have it shipped crossed country to get one. I live in NZ & WHITE reflects the heat much more in my opinion. LOVE my car & I get lots of compliments. My boyfriend who is 6ft 2was surprised at how far the front seats go back! I find this car is safer and more sturdy on the roads & motorways & I drive 'everywhere!'.....
This review failed to recognise that this car wasn’t made for young rev-head males. It’s an easy to live with fuel efficient city car. Obviously your demographic only really want the Cerato. Did you really just review if so you could bag it?
@@CarSaucewell, as a matter of fact, I actually do own one, big fella. I drive a 2023 KIA Stonic Sport, and I’ve had zero problems with it in terms of its speed and take off. When taking off in it, it actually takes off faster than most of the other cars of the road. This review doesn’t do it justice, and after using the car for a few months now, I can say that it’s one of the most reliable, fuel efficient and top quality cars I’ve ever driven. The original commenter is completely correct.
@@CarSauce it’s completely fine, it’s a really good car nonetheless, I’d definitely recommend re-reviewing but with a different perspective. I understand that the takeoff speed is slower than a lot of other cars, but as a commercial vehicle, it really does outdo most other cars. Other than that, it gets me from A to B and I haven’t had any problems so far with it.
I drove a rental 1.4l one in Sydney. One of the worst cars I’ve driven. It’s very very bad even as a daily. Gutless on when merging and overtaking , brake is dangerously soft loaded with 5 adults on highway. Steering is numb and boddy roll is massive.
You are forgetting that Aussies are all about SUV’s (for some reason) and don’t mind paying more money for 3.5 cm taller even if the rio is a better deal. But it’s dead anyway so eh.😅
Have a 2019 pre-detune Rio GT-Line. Punchy little thing. Love it to bits. Would like a bit more ride height as where I’m local to, inclines are steep, and I do end up scraping the bottom a lot.
Friend, a little respect, to us who see you, it won't hurt you. And seriously. The way you judge things reduces you and not the car! Whoever wants buys it, whoever doesn't doesn't......
We hired a KIA Stoned in Tassie recently. OMG, what a disaster. It banged, cluncked and done our head in for two days before it threw a collision avoidance code and sh1t the tin. The auto changed gears about 20000 times , and that was just on the way out of the car rental car park. My wife and I found ourselves angry and depressed without knowing why. Well we realised what the problem was once we exchanged the Stone with a CX3. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who actually purchased one. The car will be responsible for thousands of hidden deaths as owners will eventually throw a rope over a tree and kick the chair out.
