In terms of reliability, this one has more outside casa support than the raize. Because the kappa engine of this car was used for the accent, rio, soluto and reina. So engine is well tested.
it wasn't emphasized enough in this vid but the best thing about stonic is it's not a CVT! raize, gx3 pro, etc are CVT. which brings us back to your question, what makes a car a crossover? IMHO it needs to have some ground clearance, roof load capacity, and some towing capacity. i wouldn't hesitate to tow a dirt bike w/ the stonic coz it has a conventional a/t, i probably wouldn't w/ the raize coz you'll probably destroy the CVT. so stonic is a real crossover. raize is just a raized hatchback
The moment I saw the interior, immediately I realise the "Style" edition is just the LX variant with a body kit. The aircon knobs gave it away. KIA found an ingenious way to sell the lower variants.
Our almost car, really stylish. But we went with Raize G variant because of its add on features. I would say it’s still worth considering the Stonic. Thanks for this review because 2 months ago I ran out of review videos to watch regarding this car 😅
Here in the Philippines, you can take it anywhere for long drive. Even smaller cars can do that. It is economical. With the right baggage weight and number of passengers, I think there is no problem to take long journey. Some do purchase a cross-over or smaller SUV because not only of its versatility but it is the most affordable type of vehicle they can purchase sans sedans or used cars
Been waiting for this bro, Roy. Been checking the Stonic out for a while now. Actually, I am torn between the Honda Brio RS and this Stonic LX AT/Style Edition. I am a Honda fan since the SIR days and have been dreaming of owning a Honda but the Kia Stonic is kind of a bang for the buck due to its price for a subcompact crossover.
This looks good. I like this car. However, what I just don't like in this Stonic regardless of variant, the reverse light is only one and is located at the lower right bumper which I find it not good for safety? Idk. Just felt weird.
So ayun. Hopefully last na accident na iyon praying for safety ng lahat.
Tiggo 2 pro has slightly better figures in hp and torque and much cheaper by 100k compared to stonic style. Looks? It's subjective but I Iike the look of tiggo 2 pro. Reliability? Kia has an edge but Chery offers the best warranty package in the market.
If your bias to kia this is a good city/daily driver, but if your not brand concious there are better options ( Tiggo 2 pro, tiggo 5x at, raize, mg zs )
