2023 Kia Telluride | Forget the Palisade? Buy This? 

True. Only the X-Pro has the transmission cooler allowing the extra 500 lbs towing X-Pro also has a second 110v outlet located in the cargo area and 18" rims with all terrain tires vs. 20" wheels with all season tires on the X-Line. Those are the only differences between X-Line and X-Pro. Well, that and the X-Pro cost $1,000 USD more.

At least in the states, X-Line is just an appearance package - lift, black rims, black roof rails, different front fascia/grill, smoked/darkened trim. X-Pro, is a little more capable offroad mainly because of the tires and smaller diameter wheels but it still lacks skidplates. It's a soft roader still but can get a little further down the trail. X-Pro also gives you the trans cooler to to get the 5,500 lb towing...except you cant get the towing package right now because of the harness stop sale. One thing you mentioned in the video of this X-Line is it has 18" wheels. It doesn't. It's blacked out 20s. Only the X-Pro has 18s and they switch the tires to all-terrains. I also haven't noticed being able to hear my back passengers better with passenger talk. I think it is just amplifying the front to the back. Not both directions.

@@trletts While many details is your reply are technically true, it gives the wrong impression that the X-Line is JUST an appearance package. It gets the upgraded shocks and coils that the X-Pro gets with the same small increase in ground clearance that the X-Pro gets so it is more than an appearance package even if not by much. It is 100 percent identical to X-Pro except for wheels and tires, trans cooler, and additional 110v outlet. What you also should have said is that the “X-Pro is more capable off road SOLELY because of the tires and smaller diameter wheels”. Saying that it is “mainly’ due to the wheels is not accurate. It’s the only reason it is more capable off road. Put the X-Pro’s wheels on the X-Line and they are equally capable off road as the trans cooler and extra 110v outlet aren’t going to make the X-Pro better off road. Towing is another matter as that trans cooler is a difference-maker. No hate intended, just wanted to clarify.

I wanted to get this suv but yea if they do that dealership fee I’m leaving and going right to Audi I talk to the people at Audi very nice and he said their no make up dealership fee so will see at this Kia dealership

I’m sure he stole that Telluride. 2 reasons: (1) its very hard to get one, and (2) Kias are pretty easy to steal 😂

Orange amber lights ugly as hell

I wish they kept the orange circle headlights. So unique and stood out from the rest.

I thought it had really good resale value? All the used ones I saw just prompted me to opt for the new 2023 with the subtle upgrades. I felt it was worth it for the price point difference.

I have the 2019 kia sorento, which looks decent. But I get exactly what you’re saying. Kias are so hit and miss. Either they’re ugly, or they’re fire 🔥

Literally because it looks a million times better than the other one, I’m choosing the Telluride everyday of the doggone week. 😅 I’m not a fan of the silver color Kia gave you guys to review, but that interior and styling is GORGEOUS. 😍

We’ve got the Honda Pilot this week to film!

Hopefully the Trailsport! I’m looking at the Tellly or Pilot.. very tough. Drove the Trailsport and love the wireless Apple but don’t like the styling on the other trims outside of Trailsport.. and the big miss on no option for rearview camera. Drove nice but the steering was very light on the handle I have to go test drive the new Telluride! Keep up the great content!

Telluride will 'massage' your back on the drivers side but you can't control it. Only set if it is every 30 or 60 mins into a drive. Why have it and not let you control it? I agree on the rear seat heating but not a big deal. Also, wasnt important to me to have the power third row. More to break and they are slooooooow. One thing I really wish the Telly had that the Palisade does is the dimming side mirrors. Love it on my Audi. But, Telly mirrors power fold and the Palisade doesn't...

Oddly enough, they went full LED up front, inside, and taillights. They still didn't on the license plate lights and the reverse lights. I don't know why some manufactures ignore those. My 2022 SQ5 Prestige also still has incandescent reverse lights. Go figure. I'll prob switch them out on both vehicles. Especially the yellowish license plate lights on the Telly. It is a pretty upscale looking vehicle and then you have those.

Go to another Kia dealership

There are good and bad ones. Our local ones service center is a little slow, but very professional and polite. Thankfully, on our two kias, we have only had minor issues.

Same here. I am close enough to get the Kia forte GT premium. When I see the 7k mark up of the dealership. MSRP+Tax,Title and ect. + 7K. F*ck no! So I end up buying the Honda Civic 2023. Better and Reliable.

Kia is rated #1 3 row SUV since it launched. Good everything.

Resell? Not a question. All Telluride are mark up thousands and hold their value cause of super high demand.

I ser that they mark them up which is really annoying but like I told my husband I don't want to settle I really want the telluride because I hope to have it for a good while. Glad you were able to make a decision I know it's a hard one lol
