Why would any reviewer bother talking about the fuel consumption and service intervals on a car costing $250,000.00? Don’t think these will factor into whether or not to purchase.
We need to get Scott out on the track with this. Slideways Defender V8 90 would be an amazing vision haha. I’m sure the electronic nannies won’t allow it sadly. Happy they gave it the supercharged 5L V8 instead of the characterless 4.4L BMW V8 they are now using in everything. Shame the throttle response isn’t there
I have owned 5 Land Rovers. I could be a called a Land Rover tragic, HOWEVER, I will never buy another Land Rover again. They are the worst car manufacturer to deal with and if I am honest, their current line-up of vehicles are over-priced rubbish that will be landfill within 2-3 years of the warranty running out. JLR are going broke, their owners Tata have had enough and are now moving to sell off the individual brands (Discover, Range Rover, Defender etc).
Don't buy one. Be warned. I have one with driveline vibration and I hate driving the car. Land Rover say it's operating in design intent. Don't let them through you under a bus. Very poor respect for your customers to leave them with a lemon car. Not trolling just stating facts.
Don't buy a new defender, I have one with a bad driveline vibration thats bad enough to make you hate driving the car. LandRover say it's operating in design limits. Do not expect any support from Land Rover. Absolutely disgraceful Land Rover, 30+ years of ownership of many vehicles. I'm going legal on them now. Not trolling now, just stating facts. 😔
