I have this car 165ps manual wagon. Over 18000 miles i have averaged 44 mpg uk = 5.3l/km. The best manual gearbox ive ever used. Fantastic car that is fun to drive and not a tall rolling suv

Das Auto ist ja im Innenraum wirklich sehr leise bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten. Schönes Ding

Almost 3k rpm on 120kph? That's extremely short and lacking for highway cruiser. But I suspect the reason is that skyactiv motors are very weak at low rpm, so if gearing would be taller, car would become very laggy (although in my experience it is still). BTW love your channel for providing such details!

Danke für das Video. Leider sind Mazda 3 und vor allem Mazda 6 in die Jahre gekommen. Wird höchste Zeit für eine neue Generation - wenigstens jedoch ein Facelift. ❤

Really good car, Mazda just need to put the new 8-speed auto in all models, very efficient when you compar to the old 6speed (i know its manual in the video). And 48v hybrid to get the consomption little bit lower.

2.5 Turbo is the best for all Mazda line up

Not really. It's powerful and quite economical, yes, but turbocharger is small, after 5000 rpm there is no power.

Except we in Europe don’t get this engine

I dont know man... I expected a little lower consumption and a little faster acceleration. I would love that to be the case, because it looks like a simple and reliable engine, but the difference compared to 1.5 tsi is just to much - TSI has at least 20% lower consumption, at 200km/h its even 12L vs 17L and way faster acceleration: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9r0a1nTt4Ig.html

They got the Mazda 6 four different times on this channel and every time they measured a different fuel consumption. Wet vs. dry road conditions alone can make about 10 - 20% difference in fuel consumption and there are also factors like wind and outside temperature. The only thing to take away from these kind of tests is, that you can't rely on real world measurements, if you want to compare different cars.

too much thirsty with fuel above 130-140kmh , 12,8 & 17,1 liter at 180-200kmh are too much, even some 400hp cars dont drink so much
@AlexVilla88
@AlexVilla88 5 месяцев назад
The problem is you, not the car. You don't understand the principle of horsepower and power to weight ratio. Of course a 300-400 hp car will have better fuel consumption at high speeds due to HIGH horsepower available to pull a mass. It's like having 4 horses 🐎 to pull a carriage versus having 4 donkey 🫏 to pull same carriage.

@@AlexVilla88 its not here 230+Kmh speeds then usual ones !!problem are you watermeloon head!! Go watch tests of audi a4 2.0 tfsi withn150hp and its consumption at same speeds or bmw 3 with 156hp and you will see they are in diesel territory and i think that still lowest consumption even at highest speeds are those Jetta test with 1.4tsi 140hp ,so dont talk horshits
