I hate the touch capacitive steering wheel too, the previous AMG GT wheel was the best iteration and it's a shame they've gone away from that quality wheel to what seems to be a nice looking but overall cheaper feeling wheel. Good on you for being honest about this kinda stuff.
I’m so depressed about the lack of six cylinders + electrification. Just seems like a cop out to go for the four cylinder only. Imagine if the GLC63 had a six cylinder in it 🤤
I like the looks of the coupe better but from a functional perspective, I personally have to go with the standard SUV. If I had another SUV in the household, I’d go coupe for sure.
I’ve test driven bmws and I agree they’re not even close to merc rides. I own a 2015 c class and 2007 s550 and I love these rides I can only imagine how much they’ve improved since then. I would never ever consider buying bmw or Audi over Mercedes!
mercedes is recycling designs extremely often since 2015... Front Bumber Designs came back from 2015, GLC coupe facelift has the same backlight design as the CLA facelift and so on...
All 2023 GLC Coupes use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. A 48-volt hybrid system helps augment the powertrain, which is good for 255 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard. While we haven't yet subjected the new GLC Coupe to our extensive testing routine, Mercedes estimates the GLC will get to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds.
Be warned: Hello, are there any other customers with a GLC W254 300e AMG-line (2023) -same goes for the GLC coupé or the 2023 C classe (w206) with an incomplete the ambient lighting (despite having paid for the SA894 option)? FYI, The assembly plant runs out of LEDs (among others) and assembles the vehicles without installing the missing LEDs. (Air vents, door handles and central console edges) They deliver the NEW GLCs to customers and IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE A RETRO-FIT NOR A REFUND. Quote Mercedes-Benz. This is how we are treated: "the customer just has to be happy to be able to pay a good price for a one of our vehicles..." You don't believe me? Ask your dealer (they ave an internal memo with the details)
Never get fooled for buying Mercedes. Buying Mercedes, doesn’t mean that Benz is good for you. Need to understand what happened to so many consumers after buying Mercedes. Mercedes reliability is getting worst and won’t help consumers to solve problems for Mercedes. Even new E Class 2024 is going to be full technology but will be major problems.
As someone who owned a 2020 GLC43 this made me kinda sad 😥I love the new front design but the rear has more of an GLE look which I've never liked; it looks more "fat" than "chunky" if that makes sense? Perhaps too rounded now, where as my model was sharper. The interior is second to none however, absolutely beautiful.
With all the respect for this amazing channel there is absolutely nothing exiting about this car. It looks like last generation and if u want to be honest Bmw drives much better anyway.
@@mr.lassig3671Already tried between Mercedes and BMW, Mercedes is really uncomfortable than BMW. Also can’t stand longer for driving Mercedes than driving BMW
@@mr.lassig3671 in terms of SUVs because we talkings about SUVs here Mercedes drives bad even compere to other brands like Audi or Lexus. BMW in terms of driving abilities is out of rich for Mercedes. Everyone who had a chance to compere will never buy any Mercedes SUV except G class but that’s not SUV i guess.
im a mercedes fan for life. I just survived an almost fatal accident last week friday. my CLA 250 is totaled and gone, the entire front of the vehicle is gone. Its going to be a while before I drive again, but im confident in either getting another benz or VW. Even the paramedics said im a miracle im alive. Great car.
I just hope the CLE doesn't have that interior - a car I am a potential prospective buyer of (I have an '18 E400 Coupe). I had a C-300 loaner and thought the interior was absolutely unacceptable. My brother is a certified MB mechanic and says that the interior of the EQE was awful - creaky and plasticky too (an E class tier car). That doesn't inspire confidence. I think w213 E class, W222 S class are the pinnacle of car interiors. I might live with the design of the 214 E class if it were a meaningful improvement in quality to the 213, especially in a variant without the superscreen. However, that news of the EQE being awful leaves me with no hope for the E class. They're marketing the CLE between the outgoing C and E coupes. However, its really going to be a C-coupe with exterior design inspiration from the C238. I will wait and see what happens, but I might be forced to drive used E53 from the current gen or switch to BMW 8 series. At a high level, I hope this dark period for MB is a temporary symptom of their electric car R&D. I have no idea why the market researchers though people wanted shiny black plastic and capacitive touch. But its not just that - now they are slipping in terms of material quality and driving character (see brake pedal). If the CLE doesn't at least get the i6 cyl and an upgraded interior compared to the 206 C - I'm not interested. Yes, the exterior design is amazing, and the ambient lighting will swindle less discerning customers into buying these cars - I actually care about tactile feel and quality, not just design.
Awesome Review!!! But the GLC Coupe looks like it has to be pre model from outside, I have to say... the older model is way nicer. Inside it's always so annoying and ugly to have all the fingerprints on the screen, the steering wheel, ... Let's hope they fixed the massive driver assistant problems the c-class has. Many actual c-class owners sell their latest c-class because it's so cheap build and full of plastic and makes sooo many problems.
I’m not a fan of the tail lights. Not as robust/aggresive. Why did Mercedes not create a “single” tail light to join both lines? And instead added a fake plastic piece to artificially create a sense of union?
Wow it’s interesting you mentioned this. I’m driving a 2022 glc loaner now while my 63 is getting serviced and every time I hit bumps the steering wheel vibrates like the wheels are about to come off and this is my second glc loaner and both have had that issue
Benz needs to improve on reliability. My Benz have too many problems, even many that owned Benz which is really brand new like my car, also facing too many issues. Even Benz also come with plastic materials
Can you please check your videos for sound levels, for those of us who listen through headphones don't like getting our ears blown off with mismatched music levels
The coupe looks better! However, I do have to question whether to go all electric or this. This wins in looks, hands down! but something like the EQB (though I wish for a GLC coupe full electric) or maybe the Tesla Model Y might win in cost savings on daily running comparison.... It's tough to imagine this is where we are now but... food for thought.
Firstly…the Ridge Ring…it looks like a copper plumbing olive and the black one could have come from a Christmas cracker…..they look ridiculous!! Raz….you need sponsors but those items are just silly! 😬🤨🤨🤨😀
I just purchased a Porsche Cayenne GTS Coupe. If it didn't come as a Coupe I wouldn't have purchased it. I disagree with you on looks. The Cayenne Coupe is by far the best looking SUV.
@@softroseforyou7457 In your video you said the Merc was the best looking g Coupe. I made my comment based on what I believe the best looking Coupe is. Nothing to do with price.
I don't want to lie, I really don't like the 'Sportback' design of this car. I love Mercedes (even though I drive a BMW X7) just not this any coupe "SUV" Mercedes. Just being honest.
AMG cars do not have farting exhaust sound. Their engine growl like an angry lion. From the short video clip of an AMG SUV being tested on the Nurburgring, it sounded really bad. Producing the farting sound associated with BMW's. This trend is very annoying and very bad for AMG. If the exhaust cannot growl, don't fake it AMG! STOP IT! 😤
Mannnn what is happening to Mercedes. It's all terrible, top to bottom. So much expensive tech to fail, pricey repairs down the road. They want all kinds of personal information just to use their infotainment. The future of cars is a dark dystopia where you own nothing and you're going to like it.
