I feel Derek and Hadi are a clear top 2 . But Hadi might fall to 3rd or 4th . I do see Nick possibly coming in at 2nd . Samson will improve from 6th but I think 4th and he needs to be drier which isn’t possible it seems . The unknowns are Brandon who could jump a few guys and be 3rd too . Hunter is dangerous too as is Andrew . My top 6 1. Derek 2. Nick 3. Hadi 4. Samson 5. Andrew 6. A toss up between Hunter/Brandon

Just saw a training vid with Hadi and Derek with Hany coaching them and Hadi's conditioning is just wayyyyyyyyy ahead of Derek's! Hadi's conditioning and striations are on another level for this year.

Ah okay mate, I spoke to Nathan yesterday and he told me the likely outcome would be him now getting to the USA for the Arnold in March now. Really wanted to see him in Orlando but looks as if that’s not going to happen now, sadly.

Conditioning is still a thing. Last year the event venue had them walk outside before getting on stage hours after they were expecting. Everyone should be better this year.

Giles is one of the few ppl i agree with. And last year was a relatively weak Olympia. As was said, nearly everyone was off. I think quit a few are going to be off this year. Hadi and Derek included. And i agree with the Nick walker. I can see as low as 6th. I think bigger FOR HIM is not better! He gets more blocky. He needs tissue, not body weight

I'm beyond tired of hearing the word " conditioning " I wish we could realize that conditioning is one of MULTIPLE factors at play in a bodybuilding contest. So many people act like it's the end all be all. Overall size, balance from top to bottom, symmetry front to back and detail are all factors. This isn't the Mr. Most Conditioned contest.

I had no problem with him winning in 92 and 93, he utterly dominated those 2 years. Every win after that was with a torn biceps that he never had fixed.

@@Tcb0835 Thanks - random trivia, I filmed Dorian training back in April of 1992 for the ESPN American Muscle show. Valeo weight belts sponsored the segment and Dorian had to wear one for the workout. When he was done, I took it and wore it myself for about 12 years until the velcro wore off.

sorry fanboys samson has ridiculous knee jerk posing, he obviously thinks it looks powerful, but it looks stupid. and he holds poses too short. His abs are abscent with a sever bubble gut. But his main problem he has no condition. Derek wins this ahead of Andrew and Krizo and Hadi.

Still dancing around Nathan’s visa issue. He did not have a visa to begin with only an ESTA application with false information in it. Hence he could board a plane but was sent back home from Florida. That dishonesty is likely to keep him out of US a couple of more years.

Hadi has great muscularity, but his biggest knock is his super blocky waist. Look at Derek and Samson. They both have a better V taper, and they both have better shape.

I still think hadi has that muscle maturity and better development in front and side poses. It’s so close though, cause Derek’s hamstrings and posterior chain is insane. Lunsford is definitely dominant from the back too . I think hadi edges it out! Just my opinion.
