I was just watching some old videos, glad to watch a brand new one right before bed! Steve has singlehandedly made me crave MRE's.

I've probably said it before, but I'll say it again: Steve's understanding of food science combined with his culinary observations really elevates this content above the rest and heightens the experience, as well as viewers' comprehension of the meal. For as entertaining as the content is, he's also really doing great work archiving these experiences for both for current and future generations to appreciate and enjoy. Great stuff.

Steve man you have brought me so much entertainment and knowledge over the years. Ive loved mres since i was a kid in the early 90s and had the freeze dried peaches after that i was hooked. Tearing into an old mre or c rat really does bring a feeling you cant really get anywhere else.

I was happy to view a fresh video right before bed after watching some old ones. It's Steve who has made me crave MREs.

I went through basic training for the military recently, and this MRE was always a highlight. You knew if you got this or spaghetti in meat sauce you were going to have a good day. If you check out the maple pork patty (assuming you haven't already) it's awesome. It comes with pound cake, syrup, and they're very divisive, but hashbrowns with peppers and bacon. Not crispy or golden at all but it was delicious.

Steve, when I first found your videos back in 2018, I was going through a really rough period of self-destruction in my life and I sought out anything to distract myself or give me peace. Something about your videos appealed to me from the start. Over the last six years, everything in my life has changed. Mostly for the best in the big picture, but so few comforts, relationships, etc. are the same or in existence at all. Yet every time you post, I find myself back in those early days of my journey back with one of my greatest comforts. And as lame as it probably seems, my loneliness is abated each time. Even with so much of myself and my life experience in the past, you bring me back to a period without regret or hatred; it’s just reminiscence and positivity. I recognize this whole post is probably very cringey and that’s fine. But I want to let you know you’re an awesome dude and I appreciate it all.
