I really don’t like the pooping puppies. And it’s not because it’s a poop toy. I don’t like the bones. They look like candy and some little kid is going to try and eat them. I don’t like that she had to shake it to get it to eat and then pull on his leg till he cried to get him to activate. Pet toys that are “alive” like this are often used as teaching aids by parents to see if children could handle a real pet. And so teaching a child to shake and pull on dogs to get them to do what they want is not a great impression.

I think companies are also getting info on adult who buy toys from loyalty/reward systems. Personally, when I first started buying toys and dolls for myself at Target, my weekly Target ads were suddenly filled with strollers, diapers, baby clothes, etc. But then I never bought any of that other stuff so I guess they figured it out 😂 Loved the trends talk, also your eyeliner looks amazing!!

Yeah I did notice some stuff that's already out, but most of it was new to me. Interesting that they might be holding more toys till 3rd quarter. I don't mind a doll drought personally, but I can see how it could potentially be a rough patch for content creators. It's an opportunity to make other types of videos and save some cash I guess.

I just picked up the Gross Minis only because I feel for them so much. I have long covid which makes smell and taste altered. So these are my reality for almost two years. Really sad - so for them to make food on what they actually are for me is somehow depressing and slightly funny.
