The complete Funny Car Eliminations of the 23rd Annual 2023 NHRA Route 66 Nationals at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois.
The NHRA is headed back to Chicago and Route 66 Raceway for the first time since 2019 for the Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by PEAK Performance. The fan-favorite facility has played host to several memorable moments and record performances over the past two-plus decades and race fans will be eager to again enjoy all the intense 11,000-horsepower, 330-mph racing action in the Windy City.

I hate they didn't switch that 1000 ft rule back to a quarter mile. RIP SCOTT KALITTA. I still remember the run by tony Schumacher. Torco race fuels in the ihra and them growing. Outlaw 10.5 bursting on the scene down south.....good times😂

Same here. Thanks. CBS will often show Drag Races on Sunday around Noon time in the Summer or Fall, but then they cut it off to show football games. I feel so cheated that I don't get to see the Drag Race season through to completion.

Saturday was packed, Sunday had a lot less. My guess is work the next day! I will say, the capacity at Route 66 Raceway is one of the higher ones on the tour, so it makes sense why it appears empty.
