Lovely ep Craig, yes the old 80 looks as rough as guts, but would be one of the best kept mechanically ones going around, it's a credit to you mate. Just goes to show you don't need all the flash looking gear to get out there and enjoy this great country we live in hey! Keep up the good work with the vids mate!

Nice work Craig. The old 80 still going strong. Doesn't have to be pretty its just go to work I always say. The mesh idea was great will keep that in mind. I imagine its a trade off regards weight and flexibility under load regards how big mesh to go but obviously those work well. Have a new MPPT reg to go in the boat as the old PWM one crapped itself, its fed by a 170 watt on the hardtop been a game changer. We bought a Brass Monkey fridge a 50 lt dual zone for the Ocean ranger was only like $450 works great. Couldn't justify using one of our Engels and risk it getting wet. Fridges are so cheap now which is excellent. Off to watch part 2

Thanks, the old girl does a great job, Yes thats right why I was going to sell the trailblazer and buy a couple 45lts kings to try, The mesh does bend some time but just turn it over and stand on it come out pretty strait again, just cheap , and work , Ive recovered more other 4wds than used on myself,

Loving your vids mate, great to see how people go about things in different ways. The homemade max tracks is a good thing 👌 Hope you have a fantastic trip, you've put in a lot of effort thinking about how to go about packing the car and preparing for possible breakdowns etc 👍
