I just received my OGIO bag Friday and used it Saturday. I held it upside down and the clubs held tight! Awesome bag so far. I did not realize the bottom was so large and it’s a little too big for my push cart. Hence the words, “cart bag” 😅 I will either modify my push cart slightly, or buy a new one. I did work fine, but now have a great excuse for a new push cart….
Matt, I just bought one . Because I loved the previous ones like you. I’m still having an issue with where to put my towel. I wet it and use it all the time to clean the clubs. Older bag had metal rings to use. How are you using it?
I use the cord/string on the back left side. At 1:09 in the video, you can see where I have mine. Or, you could use the front right loop that I think is for umbrellas.
Hey Couer d’Alene! Played it twice last year. Such a fun course. On a side note how did you pay $279? I’ve been debating between the ask echo and ogio. The echo is cheaper but I’m worried it’s made with cheaper standards too.
Thanks for the Vids. TGW has a few of these in stock, and in their description they claim the bag includes a "Cart strap channel for ease of securing to golf cart, leaving full access to pockets". I haven't seen a picture or review that shows a strap channel, and Ogio's website doesn't mention it. does it have one? If not, does strapping it to the cart interfere with access to the pockets? Thanks!
At 0:03 on the right side, where I have my bag-tag, I think that is for an umbrella. Or, maybe it could go in the “15” hole. I am sorry, I don’t have much experience using umbrellas. Strange that there aren’t more videos on these.
The old bag had a channel where the strap would pass through, this one does not. I haven’t had it on a cart yet, we still have snow. It has Velcro cart straps on the back, see my short video showing them. I haven’t used those before, not sure how it’ll work out.
😬 not sure about that. I believe they would go through the upper grommet or rubber opening, but I am not sure the part that is at the bottom, inside the bag will be able to grab the grip. It does work for my SuperStroke putter grip, if that is any comparison.
@@metalheads-golf I too am curious about the Jumbomax grips. Went to PGA Superstore today to check thinking they'd have this bag in stock but they don't unfortunately.
So... one more question. With no pass through for a cart strap, how are people putting it on a motorized cart? I know it has the velcro straps on the back, but having a tough time imagining using just those..
I just pass the strap around the bag completely, it doesn’t have a pass-through like the old one did. It does have more structural support inside, preventing the bag from collapsing.
@Matt Stephenson Thanks for the info! I reached out to Ogio, but never got a response. I could only find on some forums, that people were saying that midsize grips wore down the nubs that lock the clubs in place down faster. Not sure how true that is, but I couldn't find anything else.
