We travel up the 395 highway to lone pine to attend @395jnky overland for warrior’s event. This event was held on Veterans weekend and it was amazing. We honored Veterans from all branches. Daniel and Tish put on an amazing event and we all donated to the fund they had set up Tunnel to Towers with a goal of $10,000. That goal was exceded and $11,000 was raised.
The comaraderie between everyone from new and old friends was great. Everyone had a great time talking around the community camp fire. Daniel had a fly fishing guide on hand to give a free 2 hr class on fly fishing. Mike from flyfisher530 took overlanders to cerro gordo trail and did some off roading. There was an intense corn hole tournament that came down to the wire. The raffle this year far exceded last years,with donation.
We are grateful we got to meet so many people and make amazing new friendships.
