Important correction- we were not the first to complete this section continuously. In fact, Eldorado and Cake were the first and they are also the ones who put the first tracks over much of it. They saved us all SO much effort. Thanks- and much respect!
Congratulations on your successful summit. Thank you so much for the very detailed description of the trail. Hopefully the hiker’s with less skill will take heed and enjoy the summit through your beautiful presentation. The night views of the lighted city’s are stunning.
Top of the world, ma!!! Great climb you guys are pro's with serious crampons and early early hiking starts. Hope others PCT hikers are taking note. Keep on.
I think you would be smart enough to answer this. If you haven’t passed it yet and you very well may have by the time you read this; can you tell me if you can see the Kelso Sand Dunes in the Mojave Preserve from the PCT?
