Important correction- we were not the first to complete this section continuously. In fact, Eldorado and Cake were the first and they are also the ones who put the first tracks over much of it. They saved us all SO much effort. Thanks- and much respect!

Congratulations on your successful summit. Thank you so much for the very detailed description of the trail. Hopefully the hiker’s with less skill will take heed and enjoy the summit through your beautiful presentation. The night views of the lighted city’s are stunning.

I think you would be smart enough to answer this. If you haven’t passed it yet and you very well may have by the time you read this; can you tell me if you can see the Kelso Sand Dunes in the Mojave Preserve from the PCT? They are 600 feet high at their peak and I named my son after them. I’ve always wondered if you can see them from the trail. Thanks! -don from Lorain Ohio USA 🇺🇸
