After watching a bit on disc golf network. I realized just how much more enjoyable Jomezpro is and how amazing you three are at commentary and how much better the overall filming is here on Jomez pro. Thank you so much for putting content like this together. There is no better format and commentary out there!
Watching DGN is like traveling back in time, to 2012, when 480p20 was an acceptable resolution and framerate. I refuse to watch anything produced by them, because I respect my eyes, and hate feeling nauseous when I try to watch disc golf at eye-watering framerates. Oh - I also like to see actual discs flying - instead of compression artifacts/blockies. DGN: you are doing it wrong - and the future will judge you harshly.
Was thinking about these guys today as well. And really, disc golf wouldn’t be the same without them. I love Jomez so very much. Post produced coverage is the best way to watch and Jomez does it the best out of everyone. The personalities these guys have with their knowledge is untouchable.
@@Chris.Daviesdo they even have a plan to fix it? I was subscribed for 2 years and all i heard from them was excuses and blaming technology. All they needed to do was communicate a 3 or even 5 year plan for improvement and I woulda stayed subscribed.
Been watching other coverage while waiting for this and I must say. Jomez production quality is so high. I don't care if it's late (hopefully not the last round ,though, haha) because this quality - it's a freaking gift.
With all the delays we’ve had this year, it would be nice to see a graphic for when the delays occur. There was a graphic during Ricky’s final round worlds that was very helpful back on Jomez
I have to admit, that i find it most enjoyable when the pros plays courses where you can't just park every whole from tee, or mostly. But that they have to do at least 2 consecutive decent shots to be parked.
The thing about mcbeth is his consistency. A 5 round tournament, and he will have no problem being in the top 2. His performance throughout this year doesnt really matter to me. His track record is more important.
I get plent of work goes into these, but gatekeeper has already released R2 coverage before jomez even drops R1 coverage.....yes, it is hard work, but for an event of this magnitude, they can definitely do better. coverage should be out midday the day after! come on guys, let's get better
You misspelled "signature" and showed Dickerson footage with Paul McBeth data and commentary, and vice versa, in the opener. I'll never stop watching Jomez, but come on guys. This is Worlds. Let's go!
Jomez, like no other channel, has a great way of making worlds feel special, significant and exciting - the music, the graphics, the commentary.. I'm so curious to see how this one plays out!
Even if McBeth didn't tie Climo, the competition is soooooooooooooooo much harder now than it ever was in the 90s. So, the fact that McBeth has finished in the top 2 in the past years is much more of a big deal statistically.
I have to say, I rewatched the final round of 2021 worlds recently and I really miss the release speed, distance, and other fun tidbits (showing all players scores, mic'd up players, wind speed, etc.). I still really enjoy and appreciate the coverage, but when 2021 Jomez has so much more than 2023 Jomez, it feels like a bit of a shame. The great thing about post produced is the ability to include all of these things... I really think Jomez should try to bring some of these aspects back.
I'm glad that Jomez is now releasing coverage two days after the round, which is a big improvement over the two-week delay for the European Open. I still think Jomez was better before it was bought out by DGPT.
@@HTMLRuleD00dQ - Is lightning more dangerous in the US than northern Europe? Never heard of lightning delay before and I don't think we even have a term for it?
OK Nobody is saying anything, so I guess I will - did anybody notice that they switched Mc Beth and Dickerson's stats. Just saying, "Technically..." This IS Jomez, yeah?
Brewster’s Ridge, to me, is the best course in the US. The woods are the quintessential disc golf experience. Tough lines, unforgiving OB, BEAUTIFUL scenery. Unreal course. Just the drive up to it is incredible.
Where is Dennis Augustsson???? I was looking forward to seeing him playing Worlds... Swedish champ, European champ... I think he really had a chance to do very well here. ☹ sad face.
Chris Dickerson sure looks different in that player profile! Paul too lol! (all in good fun, thanks so much for providing such amazing content Jomez! we love you all!)
My early prediction on hole 4, Ricky Wins. He's just been playing so well this year. Either him, Calvin or McBeth of course but I really think Rick will take it.
How much work does Mcbeth have to do for people to just acknowledge the fact that he is busy all the time. Not to mention him being on every lead card in the Europeon tour to help promote the sport and generate revenue for the sport. When he wins, he will do more for the sport than any of these young dudes could understand. Not to mention a non-profit, building courses, and just being the guy. They should be kissing his ass around every hole.
Maybe i dont understand how the points system works. But i havent seen nathan queen play all year on coverage. Or even on any leaderboards. (Doesnt mean he hasnt played well) But hes here in worlds and playing well.
