Still a winner in my book. ❤️ We have dozens of videos with practice questions. Just keep practicing and learning terms/concepts. Wishing you much success.
I remember when a patient kept coming back to the hospital due to uncontrolled pain and fever. So I became familiar with patient and we were talking about the weather and things when I noticed that one foot was bright red and had a shiny color to it. So I asked the patient can I see the bottom of your foot I think I see something there! Sure enough the patient had stepped on a piece of glass at home but because the patient also had uncontrolled DM the patient put it to the side and never mentioned it to the nurses or doctors. I pulled my sharpie out and made an outline of the redness and told the nurse to have the doctor come see him now.. the nurse and doctor showed up and 30 minutes later the patient was in surgery for a removal of glass to the bottom of the foot. Foot saved, fevers down and blood sugar back to their normal.. that day I went home and kept thinking about how I saved someone’s life. 😊
