It was a bit odd to get upset about this. To be honest it could have been resolved by her saying "do you mind if I feed it?" and him saying "no go ahead" and that could have happened at the start, or after he got upset thinking she was on her phone.

Right? On the one hand, the rule about phone usage has the implication of other electronics and she should’ve known that. She also wasn’t participating much. And letting either of these behaviors persist amongst his current and future panel guests will ultimately lower the quality of his podcasts. On the other hand, his reaction seemed far more aggressive for what the crime was. He did also did indeed ask her what was wrong and she gave her honest answer of boredom. He seemed to imply the Tamagachi took her out of the conversation and made her bored but she didn’t check her Tamagachi and get bored. She checked her Tamagachi BECAUSE she was bored. Yes her team might’ve approached his to be on an episode and she should’ve tried to be more attentive but as the host he still has a responsibility to bring out the best engagement amongst his guest. If they’re expected to check his podcasts prior to see what the show is like it’s also his team’s responsibility to vet the guests to see who’s most likely to be a good fit for the show. Knowingly allowing someone who likely won’t bring any personality or insight is a recipe for disaster. Granted I didn’t watch the full episode, just this clip, but in just these select minutes it didn’t really paint him in a great light.

It's not a simple as saying "hey be here on Wednesday" yada yada. It's like the kid in class that isn't paying attention when it's his turn to read and so when it gets to him and the teacher scolds him for it and makes class take longer than it should everybody's upset at that kid. It's no different than this. She was supposed to be there to contribute to the conversation and to listen to other people when they talk and she wasn't doing that. @@SpatuleJunior it is more than I ever wanted, my parents were middle school sweethearts and have only ever been with each other. My grandparents were high school sweethearts and were married for 66 years only being with each other. Those were the examples I was led by and I never imagined when I was younger being with this many people. My ex wife is probably the last person I’ll ever have been with, we have a son together and he’s with me and he’s all I need. I don’t believe in divorce and am only going to be married once, she left to go through her “ho phase” so I said f*ck it, I’m done.
