Probably the biggest change to the 2023 Ram Heavy duty truck over the 2022 and earlier years in the new and improved mirrors. When used for towing, the mirrors may be a deal breaker, lets check em out.

Tradesman models can get the full featured mirrors with power fold/telescope and front and rear spot lights. You should also mention that although RAM has offered and LED puddle light under the mirrors for years, these are vastly brighter and the mirror clearance and turn signal repeaters are also much nicer than before. These are definitely nice mirrors.

Now, Ford needs to get with the program and add a power adjustable convex mirror instead of a manual. Great tutorial video. I love your content. How's the general engine issues coming along? Has Ford figured out what they are going to do for you.

Thansk I apprecaite you being here. As for the General, two dealers couldn't and wouldn't dig further. No code, no problem. One other dealer, said they didn't need to even see it, of course I admitted I already took it to another dealer and they did nothing. Scoped the inside of the valve cover tonight and found a few large metal chunks in it. At this point, there is no way I'd tow with it, with the potential of the failure and implications specifcally while towing. I'm looking to either sell it or trade it. Power is down and MPGs, love the Zilla and my superduty, but most likely cut and run.

@AutoMotive Inquiries Sorry to hear that. I just ordered a 23 F-350 Lariat Ultimate Tremor 7.3L Godzilla, of course strictly to tow a GD Momentum 320g toyhauler since my 08 Ranger isn't built for the task. In my opinion, I think the Godzilla is a work horse for a gasser, and I am a truck driver, so I do understand the pluses of a diesel engine. You would think that Ford would do the right thing and honor the warranty and replace the engine since there is proof in past engine failure to back up your issue. Wish you the best of luck with the general.

It’s cool that the convex mirror can be adjusted from inside the cab. I just don’t like how the mirrors look overall and it doesn’t seem like the mirrors got any bigger their still pretty small like the outgoing mirrors don’t offer clear visibility like the Ford and GM mirrors which are huge when compared to these.

These are a nice upgrade over the previous mirrors. They were just a little goofy looking flipped up but that’s really the only way you could see out of them lol. The power convex is a nice feature but I never really change that once I get it set. It does make setting it easier though for sure and the other guys should offer that feature as well.

You can find decent replacement mirrors for any make and model of vehicle. As for the 23 mirror on the ram, those you can check Amazon, but ram may be the only immediate choice. If you have a different year other mirrors are less to replace.
