Love these cars This will be my retirement car after working 25yrs at fed ex Plan on either leasing for 39 month with the velar then the sport Also like the defender Nice presentation on both vehicles
Love the front of the RRS but I hate the new design of the back, it’s too much like the Discovery. I have been waiting 12 months for the new sport but cancelled the order due to the new design 😱
A lot of the differences you mention are just different options, like the velar manual gages compared to the digital gauges in the sport. Same digital gages are available in the Velar, they just have to be selected. Same with the 360 cameras and the seat down latch, and heads up display and even the engine.
That's not the newest Velar. Can't really compare a fully redesigned Sport with the last version of the Velar and say the sport's interior is better. The latest Velar has a remarkably similar dash, and the digital gauge cluster is an option -- that Velar could easily have had it.
Thx u so much now I know switch way to go I love the sport but price wise I’m thkn the velar start then trade up to the sport was thk also about a lease this car will be by retirement gift to myself after 25 yrs working at Fed Ex Like the idea of a car every 39 months Been in love with this brand for a while the Big Boy Range Rover Long wheel but price too High so velar or sport it is. Good job on presentation. will be look at ur other videos on Range Rovers
@@davidallen1753 Yeah, unfortunately we realized that after all the comments for this video. We'll update the channel with a new video when the new VELAR is available in our area.
Not to be negative, but this is a terrible and unfair comparison with the Velar. The new Velar one has a fully digital cluster like the one shown on the Sport and I even have massaging seats on the Velar. You should redo this video with a fully loaded Velar like the Sport. Great insight, though
Sarcasm why I'm English. I've owned a couple. Now apologise. If it's a top Motor. That means that i like it. They've been selling Range Rovers since the 1970s.
Yes. They come ventilated. If you are shopping around just make sure it is option with it. A lot of these cars are becoming more customer desire based.
Quick question 🙋🏽♂️!!! You mentioned the Sport does not have a Heads Up Display. Is there an option where I can purchase it to be included at the Dealership??? Thank You In Advance 🤝🏽!!!
Bro you got a velar with no camera system and no headlight washer and nothing! And comparing to SPORT. That's a lot of misleading information .. You should say there are different versions of velar where you have all that stuff. I personally own a velar and it has all the stuff that you just said velar doesnt have!!!😅
I ❤️ the SUV. I thought you were gonna talk. About the engines. People are calling them trash. Because of the expensive repairs cost. I was hoping they made a better SUV.
Oh totally sorry. But I hear that as well. But I don’t know how true it is. They also have different powertrain options and don’t know how reliable each one is.
I bought a 2017 RRS HST. There was one recall on the seatbelt, mine was good. I have not made a repair on this vehicle since I bought it. I upgrades the tires and rims and the infotainment system, changed the oil and filled it with gas....that's it. Very good reliable SUV. I did buy the warranty from Jaguar for assurance. Haven't used it.
These perfectly demonstrate why you should never buy any car with a big screen tv in the front, merc, tesla or Range Rover. Those screens simply say hey, take your eyes off the road and play with me. Don't worry about driving the car, people die all the time, no big deal.
Oh wow so great 👍 and very beautiful 😍❤️ and the engine 🚂🚒 very strong and powerful for the off 🛣️ road 💪🛣️ or high way and very good design with the new 🆕 technology for the new generation hument very easy to drive and comfortable ❤
Really not loving the new RRS. I knew something was up when I was immensely mesmerized by the launch video, to suddenly worried the next day. The nose is too long it scrapes on obstacles offroad. Yeah its close to the front wheel giving a seemingly decent approach angle, but it hangs really low. All off road geometry significantly worse than previous. Low range optional now. Chrome inserts in the interior, that velar got none of the cheap stuff. Something wrong with rear, definately not loving the tail gate, it doesnt integrate well and can see by how its cut. Side view is ok can live with that. Centre arm rest in rear is now pathetic from one that was huge and comfy. The d350 weighs north of 2400kg without low range, and an SDV6 previous gen is 2075kg. D7u is lighter. Previous gen is a classic shape, looks very good from any angle
@@VagabondBuilds it does look good!!! For is only that I need the off road, and it has skewed more towards city than before. Im waiting for my 110 d300 X as we speak and keeping the sdv6.
The most important point is reliability of Range Rover which has gone down hill as well as lack of security which has made these cars easy target for criminals resulting in higher rate for insurance in the UK
Don’t agree. With the new Velars reliability has improved. Security isn’t the issue. Desirability is. Range Rovers are status vehicles. Very easy to protect them. Ghost Immobiliser and faraday box.
I don't know why Land Rover keeps making these cars if they are almost all the same. Yes they have different equipments but is more of the same. There used to be a time when the name "Range Rover" meant Off Road-capable lux SUV. But now they all look like a Jaguar F-Pace super sport minimaistic vehicle and the 4x4 (real Off Road) features aren't even worth to be added to these sport vehicles. Make a "Velar" make an "Evoque" or whatever... but leave the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport as 4x4 semi Luxury rugged SUV's, and make the Defender a really rugged country Offroader.
@@VagabondBuilds to put it this way, I think that Land Rover has so much 4x4 technology that they should make sort of a Lexus GX550 competitor out of the Range Rover Sport. Like make a retro modern SUV in their lineup that pure Offroaders can put to test without thinking about scratching some metal plates. What do you think?
I’ve owned Velar since 2019 and I still do, never had issues, serviced regularly. If you can afford to buy it, you should have the money to maintain it, period!
they certainly don't call it a supercharger on their website. It can be called an electric turbo or a super capacitor. On their website they just call it twin turbo.@@VagabondBuilds
It's true that the Velar is not the latest and we will do a follow up video to show the new Velar when it becomes available at the dealership. Thanks for watching.
The Range Rover Sport designers should be fired for being lazy. Basically just through the Discovery back lights and called it a day. Unbelievable after waiting so long for the generation of Range. The autobiography the only improvement the rest is a disappointment.
