The price of the SV is also much higher than the Escalade or the Lexus. It better perform better. In the rolling race you see the superior torque curve of the Cadillac when you eliminate the zero RPM electric motor in the Lexus without turbos. Cadillac does not do off road. It’s at most off the paved road
As a current owner of an Escalade 600 I don’t understand why people would want to race these giant 3 row SUVs. We just trying to get our kids to school safely. Lol They should have a competition where they compare Audio systems, NVH, interior volume and ground clearance. Anyways the Escalade 600 isn’t quick by any stretch but it is still faster than most other 3 row SUVs on the road.
Its because the rover is using turbo engines while the cadillac is using naturally aspirated engine. Turbo engines are quiter but wont long last as long as the N/A engine
Would be nice to see the BMW X5M compared to the Range Rover. They have the same claimed torque but hothead BMW has more claimed Hp. It would be Interesting to see if BMW just told Range Rover to claim less power as part of the agreement to use the engine or if it is tuned differently but only changes HP numbers not torque. BMW is notorious for claiming less HP than tested .
Then try them off road, that’s what they are actually designed for after all. Take a rope, the RR can always tow the X7 out when it gets stuck in the mud.

Value for money, Lexus or Escalade RR is out being outrageously expensive at 220% the price of the Lexus (yes 2.2 times) , 250% the price of the Caddy (yes 2-1/2 times). Buyers of this SUV will not take them off road as they would have another dedicated off road machine. Buy either the Caddy or Lexus and one would still have enough Money for a Base 911S. After all Warren Buffet said "price is what you pay, value is what you get"

there's a lot of physics needed to be explained not only adding passengers to the range rover and the fact of making more horse power... wheel bas, gearing, differential ratios, diameter of the tires, top speed and so many things. their engines.. twin turbos, naturally aspirated these things can't be the same no matter what!
It's channels like these that damage American car companies' reputations. Comparing a $350,000 Range Rover with a $100,000 Escalade is unfair. It's astonishing that the Cadillac is keeping up with extra weight and less power. Even the Escalade V wouldn't be a fair comparison at $150,000 but it would beat the heck out of the Range Rover and the Lexus.
3 suvs are superior but as always the range rover is at another level nothing come close,,but come on man for that high price(range rover)at least they must have some reliability as you said about leaking oil and other things,,,the question is why they are not reliable,,,
Answer is because ppl r still buying it! Range Rover sells for the brand value & tag legacy which they have built sales of range rover in middle East, Australia, Asia is very low but very high in Europe & north America so yeah they don't have to worry about unreliability untill there is big drop in sales

V8 twin turbo intercooler petrol engines all in Range Rover (over 100 l/100km in all speed, Easy damage in all speed). V6 Twin turbo intercooler petrol engines in LX600 (over 100 l/100km, easy damage in all speed). V8 petrol engines n/a in Cadillac escalade (11l/100km in all speed).
I don’t care about speed in a big suv but man these things move. I’m sure if the Escalade was a “V” it would beat the others but I would still choose the SV everyday of the week and twice on Sunday!
Great comprehensive comparison, RR powerful and fast but when come to reliability it will flip upside down if I plan to own for long time I will pick Lx6000 if looking for fun driving I will lease RR!
What if you get into an accident with your 205000$ investment? There goes your reliability. You don't buy any of these cars unless you have the ability to purchase at least 3 of them without a loan, at the very minimum. If you are concerned about the costs, you cannot afford luxury cars. Just go for mainstream car brands.
Good video but disappointed that the guy in the backseat behind the driver didn't have his seatbelt on. He should have been fully belted in like the other guy in the backseat.
Disappointing comparison and race I have owed all 3 cars at different time -Range Rover is only a good show and disappointing on the long run you need a large pocket for its repairs and problem solving -Lexus lasts a long time is a decent over all car and has a good resale value always! - Escalade you chose in this so called race has a normal Engine and is a long wheel base as if you wanted it not to win! Chose the V and shorter wheel base it will kill Range Rover and cost less and last longer and has all the luxury and technology
I wonder how people always choose the long trim level of the Yukon Tahoe and Escalade to challenge other cars in a drag race!!? That’s unfair as it weighs more, either you take the short one or don’t make any comparisons in a long one.
This is unfair for Lexus . Lexus does have the f sport package and is not cheaper than $120 thousand dollars I respect that you love Range Rover but be fair next time.
I would buy lexus over Range Rover anyday. Rangerover wil finish in 3-4 years transmission problem and any more o the other hand lexusis one of the most reliable cars

Question: why are we being misled? Is this video created to advertise the Range Rover? According to the technical characteristics, the acceleration of the RR is 4.5 seconds, while the Escalade has 4.4. In the video we see something that does not match the stated characteristics.

Most people think that Lexus is a reliable car. It was really reliable in the nineties, but now all its parts are electric because it is a luxury car and not a car from its parent branch, Toyota.
Range Rover comfort is anyday far better than escalade & with that poor cabin insulation in excalade I want to sit in silent cabin so yeah RR wins again
