Oh that makes a lot of sense with the school schedule!! Yeah I’ve been using this journal for around a year now.. it’s getting close to full so I’m trying to conserve space and make it last through 2024! We’ll see if I can make it😅
What a beautiful set up and great video, so calming and cozy! It's really obvious, how much love and effort you put into your videos and I enjoyed watching this so much! Also you gave me lots of ideas and inspiration, since I'm also gonna do a middle-of-the-year reading journal set-up - but who can help when the motivation strikes to start up a new hobby 🤷♀😉 Keep up the great work 🤗🌻
I really want to do a book bracket but I read so many things throughout the month and to be honest, I don't know if I could choose a favorite. It would break my heart.
I keep wanting to set up a reading journal, but I haven't gotten there yet! It will probably take me until 2024 by this point haha. I love these spreads and want to do a similar reading log, but I think I want to include the author too. If I like a book, I tend to look for more by the same author. Some of my favorite books I've read this year are Hero of the Empire by Candice Millard (it's about a young Winston Churchill, I had no idea he was a POW!), In Order to Live by Yeonmi Park (about a young girl who escapes North Korea) and Gay Girl, Good God by Jackie Hill Perry (it taught me so much about the heart of Christ). I have read 3/4 books that Candice Millard has written and both of Yeonmi Park's books too.
I was in the same boat, it took me a long time of thinking about starting a reading journal before finally doing it!🤪 Author would be a great category to track for sure, I also like going on little binges of reading from the same person haha. Thanks for sharing those books, wow they ALL sound super interesting!!
Lovely spread, just found your channel today. Don't worry about what time you started your reading journal - I'm about a year behind of mine because I got a bit lazy with updating mine but getting back into it now. Lucky I have my bookstagram and goodreads account to help me remember what books I read!
Welcome!!🥰 and thanks haha, I’m sure I won’t always be on top of filling it out either but I also keep track of books on my phone! Analog systems aren’t always the most convenient but they’re so satisfying😌
This really inspires me to make a reading journal or spread, but I already made a really nice spread for reading in the back of my dated planner.. I literally already got my bujo and supplies out but then realised I've used all the good images etc for those spreads in my daily planner. Now I'm torn haha! Thank you for the inspiration
Wow your journal looks AMAZING! I real enjoyed hearing all about your pages and how you are going to make this journal work for you. Great video. You table lay out and music selection is also really great. Really great video production. Really enjoyed this video.
Great video, love your set up ❤ I've just read two Jane Austen books and loved them! I read Pride & Prejudice and Emma. Both were brilliant! I'm a bit 'Austened out' for now but I would like to read more of hers.
Thank you!!😊 That's awesome, Pride and Prejudice and Emma were my first two Jane Austen reads as well! Pride and Prejudice will always be my favorite❤️
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that started late in the game with the book journaling I just started I made one for next month October.... I'm pretty excited about it and that's I had never even heard about it before just recently. It's never too late to get started though I don't think
Yes exactly!! Awesome that you just started your own, I've been loving having my reading journal these past few months. I'm glad I didn't make myself wait until 2024 :)
Love love love this set up! I’ve just set my Reading Journal up too (just posted the video today)! Mine is a bit sparse still but I’m hoping to fill it in more by the end of the year 🌸
Thank you, so glad you like it!! It’s been such a fun hobby this year - so excited for you that you’re starting! I just finished setting up my 2024 reading journal, can’t wait to share it soon :)
