Sometimes you have to do something to get it out of your system. That happened to me in the early 90’s. I took a career break from my job at the bank and ran a scuba diving school for 2 summers in Corfu , Greece. I also learned to fly in the USA. So it’s true that the desire to travel and see the world is very strong. You are very fortunate that you have a business model that allows you to do that. While we can plan for the future sometimes the future has other ideas. In my case some cataclysmic health issues when I least expected them. So I would say from my experience just enjoy life. Don’t focus on what might have been if things had been different. Be positive. The old saying when life deals you lemons , make lemonade. Australia is a big place. I look forward to seeing more of it with you in your vlogs.
I loved Paris, but was put then off by its people. Rome felt like home to me. Funny, didn’t see you there. You couldn’t look terrible on camera regardless of the background. Good and bad 2023 was an experience you had to do. We don't learn or expand as a person until we have those experiences. I love my family but have learned to keep a healthy distance. Good to see you outside and I like hearing the birds in the background. 2024 is going to be awesome for you.

I also enjoy Brilliant Idea Syndrome, I also am easily distracted, I've collected building materials that will enable me to build fantasy pavilion buildings for 30 years, I'm sorting that and making decisions, for some perspective, I have 2000 tons of just steel, tons of hardwood timber, and as many fixings as bunnings, it's great fun, recycling at a mega level.

Helena, what really seems to occur in our minds that stimulate us to travel appears to be the implicit travel across our not-quite connected perceptions, beliefs, really, about ourselves. Now, i speak as one who since birth, never lived mor than a maximum of four years in a place, and even during those periods, adventured across rather large cognitive, physical, cultural, and social terrains. From dense urban social and professional to wild milieu, with no village within80 or more miles, one can experience the part of self that yearns for the emotional familiarities of its antipodes. Because i felt that giving desire - to participate in beauty, as i put it, whether to my reserved, emotionally guarded, dissociated religious mother (religion dissociates, protects its acolytes from true openness and intimacy, replacing even the most generous and the mostmysteriously coherent internal "parts" of our meaningful self, with the erroneous concept that it is permanently separate, and that we must petition it to find our way!), to the gloriouslt open, trusting, quezting deep friends, our tribe or connected spirits, as it were. Because the intense performing arts which drew me, in this vaguely illustrative case, tended to preclude mere quantotative acquaintance, friends are perceived as verystrong bonds. This is in massive contrast to the early adolescent pleasure in semianonymous partying. A corollary to this assertion IS that life has its seasons, some cycling, some, launched arrowlike. A minor biographical example: Following placing naive trust in a girl who neither had a concept of the pleasure of rather intense physical disciplines, when she chose instead to pursue rather prefabricated family ( she had suffered panic atacks, as she segued from worshiping the idea of partners highly skilled in physical pursuits - i was her last - to a settled home complete with care for two children she did not desire to physically produce), i found.myself a massive distance from all friends and intimates. As i had some skills, and always remain open to the world and the present around me ( THIS IS THE ADVENTURE! I taught them a few things, each following their impulses. As i had climbing skills, a coup!e of boys and i would explore what loks impossible, or dangerous, as they learned that it was not difficult, and small assistance through what is danger to the inattentive, granted bothsavoirfaire and agility, strength, and other natural attributes. I taough some gymnastic skills, and to some young girls who would be otherwise impoverished by the isolation of that comunity, they learned the essential deveelopment of ballet ( i since , elsewhere prepared ome others successfully for professional careers, and facilitated their individual understanding of their own specific needs and of connections to the best positions, whether academy or company. Now, this all encompasses differential amounts of time, but hopefully illustrates. I helped a couple of the older boys to discover their natural kinetic skills in another sport. The children were essentially in ned that i could suply, including.my intimacy as a role model and parent-like figure, as well as friend and companion onthe adventure of life. It was all very dense, as mere moneymaking concentrates upona resource that is envisioned as facultative, opening doors. What opens paths, to the contrary, is that response to the present that surmounts all barriers. Later, i did continue my own pursuits, , althoguh the illustration is limited by the bounds of written and spoken words. We restored some pleasure to the lives of their single mothers, flr example, stopping in huge fields of wild irises and collecting huge bouquest for the three girls to give them. Since any events i record here, i also lived with a.captive-born Wolf, whose cognitive skills differ, but rather exceed that of ourselves. 2023 was the year you were questioning yourself and went to Europe to find happiness but it's more to life than family you have to live the life and by coming back to Australia gave you the Peace of Mind and this someone you found he is a very lucky guy and also a new house wow looking forward to the next episode of your life 😀
