Mine has done just over 14000km since new and not a single glitch. Just had its first service and what a pleasant experience it was. Dealership took me home and fetched me again. Car was ready when promised. My best long trip Cape Town and back from Krugersdorp fuel consumption was 14.1km/L . Ave around Town is 11.5/km/l.....
I will be doing 1 year with my Radient Red top spec Mbali in June and I am enjoying her. The keyboard is easy to misplace that's for sure. The design, drive and detail is beautiful, I personally feel it could have done with a 6th forward gear especially the turbo trim. I agree also with the wheel size, the 16 inches don't do the car amy justice, 17s or even 18s would have made is look more bolder and commanding. On the long road you hear everything which gets irritating at times but thanks to its quality sound system, it cancels all the noise. Fuel wise it is decent, however that is purely dependent on how you drive. Overall it is a good car, one of the best budget cars out there right now and I would buy it again, I'm still happy with it.
Hallo Mrhowmuch, you guys are doing us proud since I used to watch those international car show. Can’t remember how I got hold of Muzi’s channel then Muzi introduced you and you introduced SOSA, em enjoying local channels must say
I've had mine since March 2022 and fortunetly bought it when the top spec model was R279,000. It has gone up a lot due to popularity. I've had no issues other than the motor that packed up for the electric window, but this is under your warranty so it was replaced free of charge. My fuel consumption currently is 18.5km/L as I drive in normal mode most of the time. If you drive on the open road you can get this consumption easily. The top spec version (Intense) is the best but I would go with the manual and not the CVT. Value for money, this is problably one of the best out there at the moment.
Yeah I also like how the Kiger looks. Also you are right by saying that people like this car cause I see the Kiger everywhere. I've heard that the automatic version isn't really that great but many seem to prefer it over the manual. I also understand why people would assume that it has a really upscale interior. The car looks good but it's a budget car at the end of the day. Though the cup holder thing is a no (I also like McDonald's so I need cup holders😂). I like the lights that BMW took from Renault😂.The power and torque (turbo version) is actually good for something this size. Overall I like the Kiger. Mbali is the one🤝 Enjoyed the review MrHowMuch. Please keep it up🔥🤝 Ps...now I'm craving McDonald's and I blame you😂😭
Moved from the clio RS to the Kiger Turbo Intense. Have had it for 3 months and absolutely love it. You can get the compartment for the center console at your nearest Renault for a bit extra, one thing I don't like about the console is I still can't fit my McDonald's cup without the lid popping off because the space is just too tight but besides that... Kiger the Tiger or Tiger with a "K" ( that's his current name, haven't decided between the two) he's amazing on the road, and ride comfort and quality is up there with the pricier Compact SUV's. Only downside is I wish bigger tyres to fill that wheel base, it somewhat looks like a kwid on steroids with the wheels.
Loving the content bruv, keep it coming. It's 2023, I get that it's a budget car but no cup holders??? Not even a single solitary cup holder for the driver😟😟?? Madness, Renault's having a laugh😅😅😅 not funny though😐...😅😅
I subbed and watch your channel. I live in America and wish I could get a new car for $17,500 US dollars. Plus South Africa has so many choices when it comes to trucks or what you call backies. The price for the American version Nissan frontier is $40 grand for the base model and over $60 grand for the top of the line off road model. Plus the American Frontier is bigger and wider, it looks totally different. A Ford Ranger here is over $50 grand or more.
@1:06 "shaking" that is very concerning. My issue with this car is tyres, they are quite thin for my liking. I don't trust it on the N2 Kei Cuttings in East London or Mthatha. Those curves put the stability of the car to the test.
That's a water nozzle by the spoiler there to spray the rear window if it's dirty. I also have been seeing this car quite a lot lately and a must say it's a good looking car. I know an owner who has one and she is very happy with it too. Great review as well here. 🙂
I've owned the Kiger energy zen for two years now and i must say it is convenient, affordable, good sound system, beautiful and everything you could ask for in a budget compact SUV but minor maintenance faults here and there 😒 Renault could've done better here or maybe I was the unlucky one as i bought the car immediately when it was introduced in SA in 2020.
Great video likes wise… Anyways I tried to DM you on your Twitter but your DM are closed, I wanted to know what editing software do you use for your videos, I’m starting my RU-vid journey and I’m looking for a software (preferable windows) that will help me to add background music like you always have on your videos, please assist 🙏🏾
when i bought the CVT intense turbo last year in September it was R309 000 and now it's R339 000 meaning the price of this vehicle has skyrocketed by R30 000 now that's a lot. However it is indeed the best car overall. It's a real bargain
If only they hadn't killed the sandero in south africa, Renault would be the top selling brand with the new sandero... And they replace it with this 😢no mahm
You're good at you're doing Mr how much but I feel like you're biased in your reviews. It sounds like you're marketing this Renault Kiger rather than giving your honest opinion about the car. Your content is still proper thou but please be honest, don't give credit even where it's not due
In what way am I biased ? I clearly listed all the things Renault did well and clearly stated the things they can improve on 1. It shakes when it’s windy 2. Child-seat difficult to install 3. No light in the boot 4. No cup holders 5. Noisy and old school door locks 6. Cost cutting in certain areas like the foot pedals What more must I say ? Should I make things up and insult the car just because you don’t like the brand ?
Mr How much, because this is a French brand and this is an educational channel I believe the L and T are silent in the pronunciation. So it would sound like "RENO".
@@ntombizodwaphionasibisi9432 Yeahh, I hope he'll do the Magnite as well But it seems as if the Kiger is a bit better As for exterior, Magnite looks better You don't buy a car to looks at it right? M
Mrhowmuch thanks broo I've really been wondering what's it like to drive more especially that sport mode button, I really didn't think it was of any use in a 1.0L engine !😹🙌 I was like awoa there's no way but then well done to Renault 😭
