REESE !!! - I love the smaller / lighter camp trailers - That is all you need & then some !!! So very cool & thanks for sharing !!! Bathroom is a must have in my opinion !!! Cheers !
Great Video! My wife and I currently have a Sunray 109 travel trailer and have come to realize its too small for our needs. The Geo Pro 15TB checks all the boxes for us and hoping to pull the trigger sometime in the future. I'm glad to see you are pulling it with a Tacoma, that is what we have as well.
Hey, thanks for the nice comments...Yeah, I did quite a bit of research and didn't want to buy a new tow vehicle and for what I want and needed this trailer hit the spot... I wanted an aluminum framed trailer that would sleep two possibly three with and inside toilet and you could fully stand in. Thanks again. Cheers.
We own a 2019 15TB and absolutely LOVE it! It's interesting to see the slight differences between the year models, but still basically the same. We would certainly buy ours again - it's SO easy to pull and parks easily in any camping spot. It has everything we need to be comfortable when we want to be inside - but for the most part, we stay outside - we ARE camping, afterall! This camper checked all the boxes - lots of storage, nice big windows, bathroom, fridge, microwave, tv, bluetooth, good quality, good price - I could go on and on - we have never tired of it! I know you'll love it, too - have FUN!
So happy to hear...I'm absolutely thrilled to have this trailer and can't wait to use it...I think the diff between mine and a 22 is the cabinets are not pieced together a bigger TV and the receiver hitch in the back...Thanks for your awesome comment, hope to see you out there sometime...If you see a Back to the future remake Toyota truck..That will be me..
I agree. I currently have my 2516S rockwood MiniLte for sale. We love it. We love Rockwood trailers. We do weekend trips and don’t really cook inside mostly outside. Spend most time outside. So we’re down sizing to a GEO Pro20.
Very nice, I've done my research as well and with this trailer, you get more bang for your buck for sure! For me, It came down to the Casita Independence 17 and this Geo Pro 15tb, I have owned Rockwood trailers in the past and am satisfied with their build quality. I am in the process of getting the Geo Pro now. also with your 1000w inverter all your 110 outlets will work when dry camping/boondocking, normally in trailers the 110 plugs don't work unless you are plugged into shore power due to A/C-D/C differences. Thanks again
I totally agree...I haven't been camping yet but it's only me so I think it will do great...I did alot of research before purchasing and this one checked all the boxes especially if you want to camp off grid..
Beware of Forest River/Rockwood/Flagstaff models. Mine had serious manufacturing defects which they admitted to, towed the camper back to the factory, then proceeded to return it to me severely damaged. They've agreed to fix the easy, cheap stuff but not the expensive, important stuff. If you think I'm just one disgruntled customer, take a look at the Better Business Bureau's Forest River page - 1 star out of 5. If I can help just one person not go through the months long agony and financial hardship I have, it will be enough. Thanks for reading.
Oh yeah, I believe it. The trailer manufacturer industry as a whole is rife with shoddy workmanship and quality.. Knock on wood, so far, my trailer has been good. Not saying all are but in my case it has been a pleasant experience....Thanks for commenting...
I understand this video is 10 mo old. I am hoping someone keeps checking back on the comments. We also have a Tacoma, would like to hear what kind of actual MPG you all are getting when towing. Thanks!
I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma 4x4...2.7L four cylinder with manual transmission..I averaged about 14 mpg with the trailer. You most likely have the 6 cylinder automatic transmission so it will be different.
Oh yeah me to with the solar...It comes with 200 watt on roof and it has a hook up to add more ground panels...As many as you want..I found 200 watt panels at harbor t for 168 bucks... You can attached multiple in series or parallel depending what you want....
@@imyourhuckleberry357 Man, you're so creative with making nice YT videos. I love the boat and that was some great music! I've never made any nice YT videos, but here's a quick one from a few years back also. Me & my crew on my Colgate 26 in January on the Chesapeake Bay. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LPDDYxk_nmA.html
I just went on my first trip last month, 2 weeks and 3650 miles and I loved it...The RV performed flawless for me. My daughter and her friend are actually taking it out for a little weekend today and I have every confidence she will be able to handle it and enjoy it.
It is truly a great camper for me...I took it out three times this year for a total of 4300 miles..It has been a great camper so far. Only thing I have had gone wrong was the little cover for the heater vent screws came loose while going over rough roads through the White Sands NP. Screw them back in no prob.
I have a Toyota Tacoma too. What kind do you have? I would like to know if we have the same type. Mine is 2020 Toyota tacoma sr5 access cab 4x4 v6 3.4 liter. We are worried about buying the Geo Pro with the Taco we have.
I tow it with a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with a 2.7 Liter 4 cylinder engine and a manual transmission. My tow rating is 3500 pounds and I pull it fine..Not the fastest in the world but I keep it at 55 to 60 pulling it. I live in northern Illinois and it gets negative 30 to 40 here in the winter and it did just fine. I winterized it and put a cover on it.
too bad there's not a big window in the front in the kitchen. that's a huge bummer. but otherwise, very nice smaller trailer. I need windows though so I don't feel claustrophobic.
I actually thought the same thing. It must not have a window for a good reason I imagine..I'm thinking being so small they needed more structural integrity maybe.....I forgot to mention, this trailer is the number one trailer sold to women...I found that interesting. Thank you ever so much for your comment. Cheers.
Not sure what a cassette toilet is but it is a built in toilet that you push half way down with the foot lever and when it is filled you push all the way down and it dumps into the black tank and fills with a bit more water afterwards...Sorry, in a first time RV owner and that's the best as I can explain.
It absolutely can...You have 3600 pounds towing capacity and a nice size V6 engine...The trailer weight is 2600 pounds dry ...My truck is a small 4 cylinder 2.7L with 3500 tow capacity and I pull it fine. I'm not the fastest averaging 55 mph but that's ok with me..
@@John2022-i2q It would help to have Trans cooler..If you have trailer tow package you probably already have it...Its not hard to add a Trans cooler...I have a manual transmission so I don't worry about that. I read it costs about 250 to add a Trans cooler
@@user-xt5oe2gm5v Haaa, I'm not a salesman but I do like to give out helpful info...So far its been a real neat little camper that I have no issues with yet. I did a video on my trip from Illinois to Tombstone Arizona and back, approx 3650 miles total if you care to watch.
Would you share the out the door price for this trailer? My wife and I are looking at buying a 2023 now and don’t want to overpay. Any info Would be great. I read below that you paid 21,700 for this unit. We have not seen any below 25000 here in Connecticut or in Ohio for that matter. What state are you in and what dealer have you that price? Thanks
It was right around 23 grand that's with taxes registration and license. They threw in a 500 dollar weight distribution hitch on the deal too because they had two trailers come on the same delivery so they passed the savings along... House of Camping in Chicago, it's a family owned and run business, George was my salesman...Couldn't have been any better and way less than the corporate guys.
Yeah, I have been looking for awhile at this model and when he quoted me that price I jumped at it,then to give me a weight distribution hitch with it, phenomenal...House of camping in ChicagoHouse of Camping (708) 294-8600 g.co/kgs/WHdjsx
We appreciate the information as we have been very reluctant to overpay. I think time is now on our side and will buy one this summer or early fall. Things should be much better for negotiating. All along kept telling my wife they aren’t worth more than 23k out the door. Thanks again
@imyourhuckleberry357 no it doesn't hurt, but your trailer is so short and light that it would be fine without it, especially if you don't drive above 65mph,
@imyourhuckleberry357 I'm not a know it all and my comment wasn't a criticism, I am a retired truck driver, late father in law was 1, step dad was, 2 brother in laws are truck drivers, I do have some knowledge of pulling trailers
@imyourhuckleberry357 I have a 2022 Colorado, 7000 lbs towing, I had a 2016 Silverado z71 off road, the transmission kept having issues, so after almost 6 years of dealing with it, I traded it for my Colorado last June, I like it
@@imyourhuckleberry357 we own one of these - and it IS a small camper so you have to put it where you can. I'm just happy it has one - and really, it's in the same place a regular oven would normally be (under the stove), so it doesn't feel that unusual to use it in that position.
@imyourhuckleberry357 u can't tell me I'm wrong they build these so fast that they don't forget to put glue in places or not enouph I'm I liked in these for years and the seams always leek first I just with they was cheaper there to expensive
@@leasttrending I didn't tell you you were wrong, in fact I said good advice...As with all my things, I do good maintenance as should you. Again, thank you for your comment.
@@leasttrending Yes. This trailer weighs 2700 pounds dry and is meant for two adults or maybe even two adults and one child. It's been a nice camper so far.
TOO BAD THERE IS NO WINDOW, IN THE KITCHEN. ALSO AIR CONDITIONER, SHOULD BE LOWER, ON THE TRAILER, IN THE INSIDE. 10 OCTOBER 2023 TUESDAY 🥸🤓 BETTER WITHOUT, HOLDS 🕳️🕳️ IN YOUR ROOFING., LESS CHANCE OF LEAKS ☔
I would rather not have a window in the front account it is curved and less chance of leaks as you mentioned. The air, I have had no problem with really.
