2023 SADOWSKY MetroExpress Bass - maxproud 

Hey Max, have you measured the string spacing at the bridge? I bought one of the earlier RSD's 2021 at a steal and I noticed that the string don't line up centered over the pickups. After measuring the bridge it looks like 18mm spacing over 19mm pickups. Looking at the one you're holding it looks the same. It has space on the neck to support 19mm but looks like they decided to stay with an I'll fitted bridge. I'm replacing mine with a 19mm bridge because I don't like all the extra wood on the outside of the B and G strings. Let me know what you think. Thanks for all your videos. Larry

Hey Earl: Happy Thanksgiving to you. I just ordered a new Sadowsky Metro Express PJ 5 string in Sage Green finish and roasted neck from Sweetwater. It will arrive to my house next Wednesday or Thursday. This is made in China and I paid $1,150.00 out the door. This is my first Sadowsky ever owned. I mainly have Fenders, some Squiers, Ibanez, etc. I will let you know once I get it next week. That $3,000 Sadowsky you bought used is beautiful. I have been to the website and they have beautiful basses, but wow the prices are out of orbit for me lol. I can't swing $8,000, no sir. Take care!

Thanks Max! I'm looking for a Jazz bass like this. With the 5 strings, Did you notice some issue/improvement in a 34" scale (instead 35) The Michael Kelly that you tested has that 35 scale. What about the definition of the sound of the 5th string? It is a lot of difference in quality compared with the Michael Kelly? I'm thinking in this 2 options.
