Hi, is this the same route for 2024 1st half marathon? I’m flying over from Scotland to take part and trying to watch as many videos as I can to get an idea of the route/hills etc. thank you 😊

Yes this is the first half marathon and same route for 2024 where you get to run over the Golden Gate Bridge. The race starts flat along the water but you climb to get to the bridge level. Once across the bridge, you will run down towards the water again and then climb back to get to the bridge level on the other side, this side is pretty steep so hang in there. After leaving the bridge the course becomes downhill with rolling hills all the way to Golden Gate Park. Please arrive early to the buses in the morning to get to the start line, I arrived late due to lots of traffic and the race had already started. It really is an iconic race and good luck, I hope this helped.
