I would love to see the impossible, some scrawny little guy out of the audience stepping up and lifting those tyres……….fluitje van een cent 😂😂😂😂🤙🏽🤙🏽👍👍👨🦯👨🦯
Bruh... yes, is a huge weight, but everybody talking like Tom took the record when he was 40+ KG off. There are like 10 guys that have pulled 500Kg+ on this deadlift variation. Zydrunas, Hall, Shaw, Novikok, Bishop, Felix, Caron, Pritchett, Trey Mitchell, Bobby Thompson and a couple of other guys. Also, that is not the smootest 500KG pull on that bar.
@@antoniocenteno1483 The difference is that all of those guys have been phenomenal deadlifters their entire career. Tom Stoltman just 5 months prior to this got demolished by all of these guys on the deadlift
What u on about he lifted it so easily he didn't hitch it like the other guys did in this comp and also I looked at past comps Trey never did 500 he did 499 and he had to hitch those
Yea that's not actually that old in powerlifting terms is it? Don't get me wrong, if you make your fortune, you should get out ASAP - carrying around 400 pounds is HARD on your heart, not to mention all the additional stresses elite strength athletes put on their bodies, the pharmaceuticals, the injuries, all that stuff
@bananatheory3823 This level of exercise is. When you are going to this extreme, it's very hard on you. You're taking tons of gear, carrying 400+ lbs of body weight & constantly training through injuries. This is far different than me or you going to the gym 4 days & week & having a protein shake a day.
Worlds strongest man: can't watch nothing but short clips, knowing the winner months before they release the competition in just 2 countries. (US / UK) Strongest man on earth: worldwide live ppv, can watch whole event afterwards. 🙄 I care more about who's strongest man on earth..
At 37 years old and 220# i did 1,046# no equipment except straps and did it clean from 15" using a std bar . Pic was in International Muscle mag. Im 69 yrs now.
Novikov, because of his size relative to the others, is The Beast...... incredible strength (we all know not to mess with Ukrainians). Tom Stoltman is going to be hard to beat this year, looks in great shape and of course it is great to see the main man Mr. Shaw competing. What a fantastic competition with fantastic athletes, all of them.
“We all know not to mess w Ukrainians” yea true otherwise they will send their president to pathetically beg for billions of taxpayer dollars even though Americans don’t owe them nothing and shouldn’t even intervene in the first place, Ukraine they never did anything for us but hey let’s send them a few hundred billions dollars judit for fun meanwhile we have hundreds of thousands if not millions homeless veterans (who actually fought for this country) living in poverty, sleeping in the streets w/o any food or medications.. no no that’s not important silly me, what really matters is another country that doesn’t even care about our country. Yeah that should be out too priority 🫡 WHOOOO LETS GOOOO UKRAINE 🇺🇦
I had people tell me I was stupid to do such things…I said not many men will ever know what holding a 1000lbs feels like…Thank God for that moment!🙏🏻🍀🌈👊🏻
Met Terry and Big Loz back in 2010 at Rob Framptons gym that I was training at. All of them were competing for the U.K. Log Championship. Rob's gym. Car Park days.... All great guys though.
Is it just me...or did the timer count down a few extra seconds AFTER they dropped rhe bar for some of them compared to others. For some the timer would stop immediately as soon as they dropped the bar and for some the timer stopped as they were walking away.
I'm waiting for the final event to be uploaded but I did watch the first event video a while ago and I'm going to be starting to watch every other event now that they are being uploaded regularly. Just recently watched world's strongest Man 2023 and waiting for the Arnold classic to be next weekend
5:20 but multiple belts, sleeves, straps, wraps, shin guards, grip shirts, neoprene briefs, grip shorts, mouth guards, heeled shoes (or no shoes), ammonia, earbuds, stimulants and performance drugs and therapies are all fine. also brian has worn metal suits for squat events. just wear a deadlift suit lol its fine
There's a difference between all that stuff and a device that literally lifts for you. the rise of weightlifting shirts is just bizarre. They exist only to add a couple hundred pounds to your max. It's so strange
i think this sport has the potential to very rapidly grow a lot!! but there needs to be more transparency, for example i can't find any clips or info about any other event of that competition! or Pavlo such a big great athlete one of my favorite....i heard he had an accident a year ago or so and otherwise nothing like he doesn't even exist! I think it's also in the benefit of the athletes themself ,they would earn more,.... but they really need to work on that! Like if you agree and hopefully someone who can change anything about that reads this!
What guy are you talking about? Colin does a fine job commentating much better than the Americans! Brits in general are so much better! Big loz is the best with Colin in a tight 2nd and Terry Hollands 3rd danny Wallace also does a fine job and there is NO better MC on this earth than Neil pickup!!
I understand Brian wants top guys coming to his show. But at some point coming into a competition with an injury needs to be addressed. Athletes who are injured will not give the best performance for the audience and there are other athletes out there to choose from if these athletes will inform brian im injured and wont be 100% or even 80%. Stop showing up for a free check
Who are you referring too? I don't think anyone showed up with an injury-Novikov was still recovering from a few injuries I think but other than that everyone showed up healthy.
Es algo absurdo todo lo que hacen por qué no es mi deporte realmente,es como ver a los bueys o caballos tirar de piedras o peso ya está con las mismas reglas que dichos animales que van con química hasta llegar a reventar.
