Just found your channel and so far I’m loving your content. Love how you mentioned not steaming the couch before company. I did that once and had a few startled guests because it didn’t dry as fast and I expected it to. 😂

Hi Rach, love your videos! I just wanted to give you a tip that I use when cleaning the rugs. I use hot water a tide pod ( you can use power if you don't have pods) and some fabulouso. Take your mop and scrub away. I've used it on greasy spots, spilled juice, dog accidents . It works great! I love the carpet spray too, especially in my laundry stains.

My mother always used aluminum foil on top of the cabinets. The foil reflects light therefore making things brighter in the kitchen.

Not all windows open in up top its called single hung usually most are double hung and the top u pull it down half way and there are tabs on the top to release it to tilt.

I’m also going to try that concoction, do you go back over the cabinets with a damp rag to wipe down? Think I saw a gal do that on another channel🤔Just curious! Also have a spin op, so hoping that will work the same way…

I don’t but I make sure to ring the mop out really well before using it on the cabinets or walls. It dries fast and doesn’t leave marks.

Thank you Rach! My front loader washer needs a deep clean as well. I bought the tabs to run a cycle so let’s see how it does! Two weeks ago my husband and I moved the dryer from the wall and used his leaf blower to push the lint through the wall vent to the outside. Boy was I glad we did! There was so much lint that it looked like it was snowing!

We did that a few months ago and it was crazy how much lint was in the wall. Then the smell of the blower set off the carbon monoxide alarms in our house haha.

Your windows behind couch. My top windows; with the lower pane open and tilted in, pull top pane down 4-6 inches or close to lower pane, should be able to then tilt top pane in just like you did the lower. 😊

That is how mine tilt in as well. Pull top window down and you should see a clip that you pinch inward and the window will tilt in. Don't go all the way down

Loving all these videos! I don't know if this is something you do but I need help with a specific cleaning problem. Greasy wooden kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately not just from cooking but from cigarettes too. I've tried Dawn with hot water, Dawn straight. Murphys Oil Soap with hot water & straight up. Used microfiber and scratch free scrubber. Most of tge grease comes off but there's still a sticky film left on the cabinets. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated! ❤

Wood cabinets… that’s hard because the Dawn didn’t work. Have you tried Magic Eraser?

After you clean the carpets take just hot water, no cleaner, and go back over it and you will be surprised at how emore dirt comes up. It also gets up all cleaner out.

We do this with our tile but I haven’t tried it on my area rugs. I will now, thank you.
