So owning a Subaru, para ka na ring naka JDM car hehe Tsaka, ok nman power nya sa kalsada natin, if gsto mo mabilis or more power, bili ka WRX, Outback or Ascend. This car is family and safety oriented, kaya no. 1 ang Subaru sa safety
Subaru is not like any other car manufacturers. They’re somewhat traditional and they will always look at their consumers before making a major update on their vehicle. Gone are the days where they put out massive liters with turbos cos’ their more of a family-oriented vehicle while providing top-notch safety features and techs. I bet the 2.0L N/A is enough in Philippine roads. It’s a go-to vehicle with a practicality on its mind. Regardless if they put out a turbo version (which is good btw), this vehicle would do good on its own. Even if you have a 500 hp vehicle you can’t fully exert its full potential in our road conditions and our city traffic. For it’s price? You could get a base model Fortuner or other with its price range but in all honesty, consumers would buy this due to its safety features and practicality. I’m hailing from Mindanao, my line of work lets me go to most unexpected place where roads are harsh, going mild off-roading and mind you the peculiar weather environment in which sometimes in summer, the rainfall goes crazy- stuff like that. So I’d want me a vehicle that has class, that SAWD, practicality and safety tech. I would probably go for the GT Edition as it goes more of an aggressive look. Subie all the way.
And a non-turbo/NA engine usually lasts longer. I get your point. Iba talaga Subaru. Pero konti na lang kasi makakapag CX-60 ka na with its V6 kaya it's a hard sell for me
Agreed, owning a 2018 outback 3.6, ang sarap I maneho nito, at di ka takot mg light offroading. Problema ko lng is ang lakas uminom ng gas haha! Oh well, trade off tlaga sa extra power nito

Made this my wife's first car. Out of all the cars na pinasubok ko sa kanya, eto lang ang ginamit nya on her own. True sa statement na confidence inspiring from what I can see. True din if you want faster cars anjan naman yung lighter version na crosstrek and ofcourse the wrx's and brz's. Almost magkaka presyo lang naman na sila, just have to choose which suits you. Good real impressions review ka swabe.
I like Subaru cars only I think compared to other new 2023-24 models design? I think it lags a lot. Eg. Eye sight which is the Subaru icon? Others normally have that set up already. If Subaru would upgrade especially exterior design? Not just a facelift, guess that would add better selling points.
Refinement, design with 5 star engine(2.5T) - Mazda CX5 Lower center of Gravity(boxer engine) excellent Awd system and probably one of the safest cars around - Forester
