I really appreciate this video. Suzuki should have made a video like this. Couldnt figure out how to get to thw menu...booklet wasnt helpful...your video was. Thanks!
Hey thanks man for that update… I just took delivery of my bike yesterday and the dealer had no clue how to operate any of this stuff since they’re a husky and KTM centric kind of shop so this really helped out man… Go blue
Really good video! I think I'm waiting for the road going version though. Some markets call it 800RE, USDM I think is just going to call it 800 (no DE). I'm honest with myself that I will probably never go offroad more than a gravel/dirt farm road so I prefer tubeless tires. Thanks again!
Fantastic video! The manual frustratingly doesn't say how to enter the settings menu by pressing and holding UP on the odometer reading. Thanks from across the pond 👍
Hold the DOWN button on the selector switch for 2 seconds to reset the trip odomters. On the key tumbler, you can lock the handlebars OR you can lock with the light on. Not sure why anyone would want to do that, but Suzuki gives you that capability lol
It's a Givi plate that I had mounted on my VS 650XT. The mounting holes in the plate line up with the holes in the plastic luggage rack. I did, however, fab up some support braces using 1/2" tube to help hold the weight of my top case.
It’s the Givi PL3112 from my VS 650XT that I had to make my own support braces. My next video will show you. Givi will come out with the bike-specific plate & braces soon. I was just too impatient to wait lol.
Hello greetings,i have one question, did you put a halndelbar risers on your bike and does it feel better like that,i plane to put them on my v strom 800,thank you and i wish you good time on your bike
@due51outdoors OK, thanks. Do you feel that vibes are more than you expected or acceptable?. When these bikes arrive in my country, apparently, there won't be a demo version.. Honda has the transalp, my alternative, ready to demo. That's how you win sales. I do prefer the 800de but if I can't demo it then I'll have to go with transalp.
