Need help. Bought tesla model y 2023 this april. Bought the rear display. But once i crack the bottom rear console panel, there is no more blue connector harness there. Any idieas where did they route it?

How you pass cable from center to the seat? Did you pass from special path that the cable be hidden or a little part will be visible between center and seat?

That jumper installed on one of the wires is for the USB-C ports? Why use the jumper and not attach it to the ports?

Im curious how movies work while driving... Can you install movies from a thumb drive and watch it through the car speakers while driving? How about downloaded RU-vid vids etc. Really thinking of getting this.

Yes. You can do all of that. It functions like a standalone tablet. So offline Netflix, RU-vid etc. also - you can simply connect it to your phones hot spot and the back seat can watch movies, play games - connect to your cars Bluetooth OR their own headphones.

Hanshow customer rep said if you have the Performance Model Y, then you NEED to order the one that says "Model Y" and NOT the one that says "Model Y 2023+ Standard Range - USA". Quite confusing if you ask me. Why can't they just put the word "Performance"?

Yes - front seat is totally optional

Is there a Bluetooth audio delay? Is the rear A/C air flow restricted since the outlet is reduced to 1 slit?

Slight delay - but that can usually be solved with a quick pause/unpause. The delay I’ve only noticed when connected to the cars Bluetooth audio. But with headphones - no delay. My kids usually have headphones on during road trips - so they can listen to the movie. And I can listen to my own audio through the car.

And yes - definitely some restricted airflow - but for us it was worth the upgrade. The single slit still produces a good amount of flow though. You just need to turn it up more than usual
