@@aram430 oh god where do I begin?🙄 First off, they completely screwed up the interior dimensions. The cargo area is absolutely atrocious. The third row is also really small. It has less third row space than a highlander. No independent rear suspension like the last gen model had. Thr last generation had way more space inside and cargo wise. I do admit the hybrids nice I give you that as does the exterior look good, but given that Toyotas the master of hybrids the mpg is really disappointing. Plus the looks don’t at all compensate for its shortcomings. You can’t say it’s perfect if there are so many negatives
@@naveenthemachine Third row only comes in if you got kids.. If you don’t have any kids, this thing is perfect. Fold 3rd row down and create the shelf with the adjustable cargo rack, and this thing is perfect for an adventure couple and a couple friends. Plenty of power, plenty of capability, and realiable. Toyota is not marketing this to the family of 6. Niche market.
Thank you for not doing the "I'm going to use crawl control and lock the diff on these small bumps because I should" and driving it like you normally would on a light off road trail. Every other video they use it completely not needed on the entire course.

I am unsure how to feel on every V8 becoming a V6 and Hybrid. Or just a V6. I feel as if this vehicle should’ve been hybrid a long time ago as opposed to a 5.7L V8. Same thing with Lexus GX 460. Both of these vehicles should’ve been V6, Hybrid or both 10-12 years ago. For those stating that this vehicle should still be a 5.7L V8 have obviously too much money for gas or don’t know how horrible these were in terms of gas mileage. The 4.6L V8 for Lexus is still efficient no matter how much people say the same only because it gets one mile better than a 3.5L V6. There isn’t that much difference. However, a 5.7L is getting a lot lower on average, especially if you roam around on it.
I like how they modernize the old school chime and blinkers. But I still hate the fact they replaced their V8 with a V6 Hybrid. But this is a great step up for Toyota for updating their ancient vehicles. I’m still curious about how the 4Runner will look now that both of these old school vehicles are modernized and updated.
@@mohammadzohorul8887 you don't need horsepower to want to be able to control gearing easier and more conveniently. And to make it slightly more fun for those who enjoy using paddle shifters. The Camry doesn't have 600hp and they offer in that. The Supra doesn't have 600hp and they have it that. There's not one Lexus in the current line up that has over 600hp and they almost all if not all have paddle shifters. There's plenty of Hondas that barely have 200hp that have paddle shifters. There's plenty of Dodge's that don't have 600hp and have paddle shifters. So on and so on. I get there's people who don't need them or don't see the reason to use them, such as yourself, and that's fine. Nothing wrong with that. But since Toyota already offers them in plenty of other vehicles there's no reason to offer them in one of the top trims for their truck/SUV for those who want them and enjoy having them.
I would be worried about taking this off road in a secluded area and the turbo blowing up in the middle of nowhere. Would prefer a naturally aspirated v8. I know it will burn slightly more but atleast you don't have to worry about the turbo blowing up.
