Thanks for the memories . I was born in yekepa in the late sixties We left when my dad retired in 1978. Haven’t been there since but still dreamed about my hometown.

Thanks for taking me on this ride. This town was still beautiful when I last left 31 years ago. I don’t recognize anything whatsoever. It’s a rubble. Debris. The scene of a horror movie, the apocalypse. So so sad what wars did to this one time vibrant metropolitan. 😢

We left Yekepa fifty plus years ago. It's remarkable to see how pristine much of it still is. I was somewhat surprised to see how small the Arcellor Mittal living area is. I'd be curious to know who actually lives in Yekepa now. Where do they work?

I have worked for the bong mining Company 1970 at putu range for more than one year , i just wonder if the Camp ist still there and how IT looks today. Maybe yu can help me answering the question. Tanks in advance Fritz the Putu man
