Good catch coach😉, I knew that I needed to invest some energy in match point since he started to make a little run at the end of the 1st game

I was at the match and am glad you are posting videos. The commentary on other matches is excellent. Any strategic or technical ideas you had for these games?

Hi Howard, who was your most difficult opponent in 2023's US Adult Nationals?

I think every opponent was a different challenge at the 2023 Nationals. Everyone had very different playing styles and each game situation plays out differently. So its hard to narrow it down to just one difficult opponent. They are all though now 👴

你很主动的抢网前高点推2个底线角和网前对角,并且后场正手击球非常的柔软;看你的视频学到很多东西

I don't know why pros try to guess the side where opponent is going to smash. Why not just return to the middle instead of standing on one side?

Sometimes if you are in such a bad position and you know the smash is coming and that you won't have time to react at all, it's better to just take a chance and guess where your opponent might smash. Not ideal, it's a desperation move

@@howeezy good job on the win. I did some badminton training and the forehand jump out smash is always the hardest shot for me to master. I have trouble getting behind the shuttle quick and the feather blends into the white light from the ceiling. edit: some pros told me the forehand smash is usually teh weaker one compared to the round the head smash because usually the forehand smash is a jump out and there's no full body rotation.
