@Living The Florida East Coast - Andrew Pensch Awesome!! Perhaps I'll return in another year. 😎🌴🌴🌴🌊🌊🌊 I lived a few minutes walk from McKee Botanical gardens.
New yorkers are a fact of life in florida. However, in Vero I can confidently tell you they're not as prevalent and generally dont stay long. Tourist season is usually late nov. - march Vero Beach is extremely laid back and friendly.
People from NY and the Northeast provide the majority of the economic activity for Florida, real estate agents would be in poverty without them.. go look at areas in Florida and Vero Beach that don't have New Yorkers and you will see Poverty & High Crime, so be careful in your judgments
We have the outlet malls west of i95, with the boost of online shopping and the 2008 rescession people stopped going to malls. That being said vero beach mall is pretty nice and started to revamp and revive.
The Nickname for Vero Beach is ZERO BEACH. I lived there for years owned several homes in several areas. Unless your Old and near death, there's Zero reason to live there.
