Thanks for watching our CHRISTMAS 2023 HOME TOUR Part 3, showing our OUTDOOR WINDOW DISPLAY with blow molds and much more thrifted décor inside! We'll have many more home tours for your enjoyment! We love our vintage decorations and especially our 8-ft. MCM Evergleam Aluminum tree that you'll SEE here!
We've always had fun thrifting and antiquing for vintage MCM furniture, lighting, kitchen dishes, and fabulous old accessories to use and decorate our home since 2005. You will enjoy our RETRO HOME TOURS that we have on our channel. Our home is constantly changing as we find more fun vintage items at Goodwill and other thrift stores, as well as antique shops in MN and WI.

Peggy, that tinsel tree is so pretty and I love the garland going up the stair rail. Great job. Norm, oh my your window is just beautiful! I don’t know what else to say...it’s just so lovely. Yes I found Waldo!! Here in southern Manitoba we got snow about 5 weeks ago and it’s a good thing, otherwise we’d have a brown Christmas like in 1997. Yes it’s great not dealing with snow, but brown Christmas didn’t give the right “ feels” We’re a good 10* Celsius warmer than we should be, so the winter will sure shorten up. I hope you get some snow to get the right “ feels” ❄️. Merry Christmas!! 🎄🇨🇦❄️

I'm so pleased to hear you enjoyed this video.😊 It was a lot of work, and I still got a crummy complaint that my/our "talking the whole time without constant Christmas music gets monotonous." I was trying to film with a bad headache yesterday and had to redo the beginning and downstairs parts because I got too quiet.😕 I had music through 90% of it. @@Crazy4Retro I prefer the talking and explaining where you got things, the other RU-vidrs I watch have the music so loud I usually mute it and just watch… it’s usually those same “new generation” songs and it grates on me 🤣 I love yours because it’s subtle and not overwhelming. Peggy it looks awesome, love the angel/singer collection, they work so well displayed as one big collection. Loving the new tinsel tree, sad to see that gorgeous lava tree go but I understand the need to swap things out and knowing it has gone to a good home helps you not to miss it. Norm the window looks great, love the snowman additions, you always do such a great job. Would work for winter too, do you do a winter one, I can't recall? Norm I collect tree toppers, mostly Noma ones I think. I wish I had a display spot to hide the cords. You made me think of using an old green shutter with a tree cut out leant against the wall leaning on a shelf! Thanks for inspiring a solution to an age old pet peeve. Peggy I have enjoyed watching your 2023 Christmas Home Tour. I also loved Norms window. I tried to replicate your gingerbread cookies that you attach to your refrigerator. I put magnet strips on back of ornament but would not hold.Any suggestions. Jan

Hi Jan! Thank you so much for watching our video today and sending your fun message. I'm glad to hear you are collecting the cookies. They will make you smile ;-) I have used the thicker black round magnets for years, but we had a fridge that was textured for many years, but our new fridge a few years ago is now smooth. A lot of the heavier cookies kept sliding down. So I had to glue on a second round black magnet. There happens to be some texture on the sides of our current fridge. Funny. But you will notice that I had bigger and bigger cookies towards the bottom of the fridge and they require very heavy duty, more expensive magnets. It's a good thing I'm thrifting the cookies! I've always used E-6000 glue in a tube. It's smelly but works well. It won't set up quickly, so you need to keep the cookie very level, or you'll come back later and find the magnet slid off to one side. It's always helpful to buy your magnets when Michael's is offering a discount on regular priced items, like I just did last week for more magnets! I put up a whole new collection of something on our fridge this year! I needed lots of magnets again. I had rewards from them too, so it helped. Good luck to you in finding some cute cookies out there. It's great checking the stores when they are clearing out all their Christmas inventory. I've found some beautiful new ones quite cheap.
