2:36 perfect summery. I tried these last 2 season. These are perfect for "East coast" conditions, a bit more ice, windpacked, cruddy snow. They will make you a better skier in poor snow conditions. It was an eye opener finding a ski that fits the crusty snow condition i ride in Scandinavia. Its opened up a whole new dimension for me.

That Bonafide is still one of the sweetest feeling skis ever made. Silky smooth over the crappiest of snow.

Fantastic review. Yes meat and potato skis! Well said. I have skied all 4 and if I could I would own all 4! The Bonafide is like a Range Rover! Plows and holds the line and you can push this guy hard! Just my 2 cents!😊

Nice comparison. So if I love my enforcer 93 but wish they were a little more playful off trail then Fisher 96? If I’m adding rather than replacing should I consider Fisher 102 instead?

Great Video! I consider myself an intermediate skier not fully engaged in carving just yet but working to get better this year. I love the Mantras M6 and will be purchasing them soon, will these skis help me progress into carving? Or are they to advanced for me? I really want to start moving out of my skidding phase and focus more on carving this season, I feel this might be the right ski. Thoughts?
@TheSkiMonster
@TheSkiMonster Год назад
@joeblue7 If you love them and feel comfortable on them, then yes. The Mantra M6 is a good option if you are looking for an all mountain ski that likes to be up on edge and prefers harder snow. If you are looking for something that is a little more forgiving and versatile you could look at the Enforcer 94 and Ranger 96 as options. Feel free to call us, live chat or make an appointment in store if you have any more gear questions! We'll get you dialed.
@src248
@src248 2 года назад
Not sure I'd agree that the the M6 isn't maneuverable off trail, it's a pretty loose ski with the bases flat and it'll pivot on a dime if you unweight the tails. It's a strong ski that takes some physical effort to work, but a good skier can have a great time on it off trail. Not saying it's the best choice for bumps and trees but I do think it's more versatile than you're giving it credit for.
@TheSkiMonster
@TheSkiMonster 2 года назад
Steven, you make some good points, and we agree it does take a better skier to have a great time on the M6. It's not that we think the Mantra isn't maneuverable at all, but we found it the least maneuverable and playful of these 4 skis. All of these are great options for the right person.

Steven- great comments and discussion….. I’m wondering if you have any experience with the Black Crows Serpo and if so where do you think that ski would fit in with the 4 that you have on the wall.
@TheSkiMonster
@TheSkiMonster 2 года назад
@Gary Fischberg Compared to the 4 on the wall, the Black Crows Serpo fits between the Blizzard Bonafide 97 and the Nordica Enforcer 94. The Serpo has a more precise and powerful feel than the Enforcer but it’s not as powerful or damp feeling as the Bonafide. The Serpo arcs a better turn than the Enforcer and feels more at home on groomers/hardpack while the Enforcer is easier to pivot and move through tighter terrain.

Would you put the new 2025 E94’s at the same spot as the older model?
@TheSkiMonster
@TheSkiMonster 4 месяца назад
yes and in relation to the older model, it would be a smidge to the right. And if we added in New anomaly would be to the right of Bonafide and M7 to the right of M6.

How does the Enforcer 94 compare to the Enforcer 100? I ski the mantra now and love it, but am looking to get a little wider ski for powder but not give up the railing turns. Thanks!
@TheSkiMonster
@TheSkiMonster Год назад
Construction is virtually the same between the two but you get a little more with and rocker with the Enforcer 100. You'll get a little more float with it, but won't give up much on the hard snow performance side. Both great options for a versatile all mountain ski.

I’m really torn between the Bonafide 97 and Enforcer 94 trying to find the balance of versatility and performance for my one ski quiver for skiing in the east coast (hard pack and ice on piste) but still the ski I can take on a trip out west or Vermont and be able to do anything on. How similar are the bonafide and Enforcer?
@TheSkiMonster
@TheSkiMonster Год назад
@Steve Paterson, if you prefer crushing groomers the most go Bonafide. If you like a true mix of on trail and off trail stuff go Enforcer. They are honestly pretty similar in terms of construction and event their shared factory. The Enforcer has more rocker in the tip and tail so the tails are easier to release and that can make bumps/trees/off piste more fun.

Can you compare the new Rustler 9 2024 to those 4. Is the Rustler 9 is more like the Mantra or the Ranger?
@TheSkiMonster
@TheSkiMonster Год назад
2024 Rustler 9 is closer to the Fischer Ranger 96. Very similar construction, but the Ranger has a little less metal than the Rustler so it will be a little more playful. Rustler edges out the Ranger on hard snow but both really great options in that mid 90's waist width. 20204 Blizzard Rustler 9 vs. 2024 Fischer Ranger 96 is here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BLd7tdt8pAk.html

I have skied on 3 pairs of Volkl and I could not get any of them to turn and I am a racer. Is there a big difference between the Enforcer 94 and the Enforcer 100 and if so what is it?
@tonyg3091
@tonyg3091 2 года назад
Funny. Deacon VWerks turn basically by themselves.
@TheSkiMonster
@TheSkiMonster 2 года назад
@Darin Smith The obvious difference between the Enforcer 94 and the Enforcer 100 is simply the waist width. What that will equate to will be the 94 will be a little quicker edge to edge, but you'll sacrifice some float in softer snow. If you spend more time in softer snow or off trail look at the 100, but if you spend more time on trail and want something a little quicker, look at the 94.

@@TheSkiMonster Is there more rocker in the tips and tails and more camber for the 100s? Is there less metal in the 100s?
@connorquinn7071
@connorquinn7071 2 года назад
@@darinsmith2458 from my understanding, the enforcer line 88, 94, 100 share the exact same construction and shape. So the differences only lie in width. The enforcer free line is where you see an increase in rocker profile. I’m sure TSM can confirm though.

Mantras are the best. They are red, hence-fastest. No, seriously, of these the M6 are the best. Very demanding they are not. Very demanding is a ski like 30m FIS GS ski, these are not. These are sweet ski, if you want something with real OOMPH go M102, now these are BEASTS.
@TheSkiMonster
@TheSkiMonster 2 года назад
None of these skis live in the same category as an FIS GS ski. If the ski you mentioned was included in this comparison you’d be correct, that would be the most demanding. However, of the skis in this video, the Mantra is the most demanding and is the most one dimensional. Mantras might be the best for you, but some skiers have different priorities that the Mantra doesn’t align with.
@briankennedy9040
@briankennedy9040 2 года назад
@@TheSkiMonster Your video would be more useful if you talked about different skier priorities other than just "front side vs versatile" . Skiers with good technique have no problem initiating turns though bumps and trees and appreciate the high speed stability and ability to cut through crud of a ski like the Mantra.
@TheSkiMonster
@TheSkiMonster 2 года назад
@brian kennedy Regardless of ability, the mantra is the most difficult to initiate a turn out of the skis in this video. Obviously, an expert skier is going to have an easier time initiating a turn and figuring out the sweet spot on a ski, however an expert skier is going to have an even easier time in tight terrain and initiating a turn on one of the skis farther to the right in this video.

@@TheSkiMonster I was just giving an example what demanding ski is. Neither of these here are. Once again the Mantras are the best. A blast in any condition up to cuff deep powder. Charger without being the supercharger the M102 are. Good for anybody from intermediate upwards. One of the very very few ski I”d happily spend the entire season on. The other ones being the SR 95 and Candide 1.0 2021.
