‘22 owner here. I enjoy my R-Line. Not everything is about gettyupandgo. Don’t let someone frustrate you out of something you might enjoy. And the seats look better in-person
I have the same car. 2023 Tiguan R-Line here in the US. But it looks so different in many ways. Front and tail lights are different. Wheels My back door panel does not have the ambient lights, only the front. And they come standard with 3rd row. Also my comes with leather which is standard as well on all the tiguan r lines.
It makes me think about the long range model x five seaters which was manufactured by Tesla and equipped with 670hp. It sounds really interesting to compare the black Tiguan R with the x.
I'm so jealous we don't get any choices on engines over here in the states. I would love to get this engine or the R in the Tiguan. Instead I've got to consider going to aftermarket and having it tuned to get a little extra oomph. My only complaint about the car. I don't expect it to do 0-60 in 4 seconds but improving it slightly from it's 9 sec time and giving it a bit more passing power would be fantastic.
I concur; here in Canada we do not have the rear door ambient lights. The tail gate does not come out. We do have Faux leather. There is no "R" logo on the seats. But absolutely love our New 2023 Tiguan SE R-line Black. There was a wait as vehicles are coming from Mexico, but happy to have side car assist and Power Tail Gate. Unfortunately due to parts shortage, was unable to get the Sports Steering Wheel.
Da geht noch was.
