VW Tiguan is one of my current favourite SUV's so I enjoyed this video. 73k for an exhaust would be fine in a place like Germany (for the German Autobahn) but not here in SA so miss me😂. The fact that the sunroof is standard is shocking. I'd honestly just get the 2L normal Tiguan R-Line cause it has more than enough performance. The fact that they look too much alike is another reason why I'd just take the normal Tiguan🤔 Thanks for the video and thanks to David for being a cool gent🔥 Road to 50k subscribers...let's gooooo🔥
Great review, great SUV, just got one as my daily driver, 5000km in 4 weeks of ownership averaging 8.5 litre/100 Lot of free flowing driving. Love it. In Australia there is nothing else available for the price and performance. The RSQ3 is 50% more yes it’s faster but cannot justify the cost difference. Only complaint I’ve got about the R is the seats should be more supportive with larger side bolsters. Otherwise, the performance, sound system, lights, sun roof are all brilliant. 👍
Are front headlights easy to steal with bare hands ????i will pass on over priced low quality plastic features but not actual upgrades from VW….imagine spending 1.2ml for something that look like the regular R model 😂😂😂

It a beautiful car indeed but it looks like a Tiguan R-line but when you go at the back , you start to realise that it a proper R not R-line #Watching from uMlazi Durban....🎉🎉🎉

I never really liked suv’s because of how expensive they are and how fast they depreciate compared to the other body shapes. I just don’t get the point of a sporty suv, why get a suv if you want to experience good performance? And I bet in a couple of years SUV’s will go out of “fashion” just like station wagons.

Honestly I'm fine with the looks. Because people pay a lot of money for that R-Line body kit. Like amg and m sports. It's a standard car in a nice body.
I'd prefer body colored pinstripes and wish it offered Brembo brake. The current brakes look a little puny, especially inside those massive wheels. Nevertheless, that's nitpicking and I wouldn't turn it down as is. Speaking of which, the integrated headrests have more bolstering, but also wall off the rear passengers making it more claustrophobic, not to mention less ability to enjoy the ride. Love the panoramic roof however. Unlike a lot of rivals, it covers a large area, AND opens all the way. Not a fan of the wheels. I prefer a more curved design to the angular styles.
I'd spend that on a more premium/audiophile sound system and/or better materials. But to some guys, the more high-grade exhaust IS music to their ears.
Wat I don't like is it doesn't come with the golf R bucket seats... Bt everything els about it is great... And the fact that all the pre used tig Rs currently available in mzansi came with all the extras and they are priced arwnd R1050000... I can't afford but that's a good price
Honestly, there's no need for an SUV performance car. And what's the point of having a Golf and Tiguan with the same engine? Oh maybe VW doubts themselves, after what happened with the poor sales of the Mk8 GTI. And those extras? Nah man. Great review by the way my G.
