On Question 1: No effect with backup system. Solar panels + grid tie inverter (not your home battery inverter) will stop producing power when the Electricity from the grid is not available (unless you have a sophisticated hybrid grid tie inverter) On Question 2: I don't think they will replace the panels. For your info, hails has to be the size of golf ball to damage the solar panels. The solar glass is very tough. Also, the solar panel will generate power (at a slightly less capacity) when the glass has hail damage. So you will still have a working panel

Good idea,yes sell current to grid,but the problem is ,if your income per year should be below one lakh rupees,first you know how much electricity is produced through 3kw solar panels,8units per day may be produced,thirty rupees per day,this is what you get,I may not be correct

Sir, PM Surya ghar solar roof top లో 3k w కి ₹210000 గా ఫీజిబిలిటీ approval వచ్చింది. పై మొత్తానికి అదనంగా ప్లాంట్ installation కు ఎంత ఖర్చు అవుతుంది, ప్లీజ్
But the process is taking or consuming lot of time. For example I have applied for the scheme in the month of Feb. 2024 but even after the lapse of 2 months the feasibility checkup not completed. There's one more doubt that after fixing the solar panels etc., by the empanneled vendors the consumer has to approach the power grid office and got fixed the net meter. It may take a lot of time for actual completion of the unit in full shape and get the benefit as desired by the Hon'ble PM of India. So, it is felt that once the consumer has applied and paid the agreed amount all the process shall be taken up and completed by the authorised Vendors. Otherwise the will and pleasure of the Govt. to errect 10 million units in the Country may not be completed within the reasonable period of time. This is from Madanapalle which falls under APSPDCL.

Hi Aditya, since there is no battery, we will not have any power if there is a power cut (which will happen quite often in summer). Then what is the point of such an investment?

@@cvr689 whatever power is produced under this scheme will be sent to the power line. That is why they are giving subsidy. The Electricity board will calculate amount of units produced and minus the units you consume and then send u the bill. You cannot store the produced power if you want subsidy.
hmmm., it seems, my earlier comment about vendor's pricing strategy was deleted ! wherever some sort of #subsidy exists, some try to exploit / cheat the system ....
