初春の門司港駅周辺の朝の風景です。こういう写真を見ると、やっぱり晴天の日のブルーアワーとゴールデンアワーっていいなあとあらためて思います。
ぼくはずっとバンクーバーで公立高校の教師をしていて、写真も教えていたんですが、生徒さんたちにはなるべく晴天の日のブルーアワーとゴールデンアワーに写真を撮るようにすすめていたんですね。でも、そういう時間ってもちろん授業時間じゃないので、いろいろと風当たりがつよかったときもあったんですが（でもぼくの方針を全面的にサポートしてくれた上司も多数いました、というかいた時期もありました）、この門司港の写真を見る限り、ぼくはまちがっていなかったんだと思います。
They are scenes from early Spring morning around Mojiko Station. Those photos make me rethink how beautiful lights are during Blue and Golden Hours when it is sunny.
I was a public school teacher in Vancouver for many years, and I was teaching Photography. I had always encouraged my students to take photos during Blue and Golden Hours on sunny days, but since those hours are not during schooltime, I sometimes had to take some heat from various people (but at the same time for many years, I had a full support of some of my principals and vice-principals). I think these photos of Mojiko show that I was right all along.
