First of two dives whilst on holiday in Brela, Croatia.
I was diving with the local dive centre, Bikini Dive, located just a 20 minute walk along the shore from the hotel where we were staying.
Bikini Dive is owned by Ivan and assisted by his friend Ivić. Both made me very welcome and were a good laugh whilst we went through the kitting-up and dive plan process.
This outing was to be just with me and Ivić, straight out from the shore onto their 'Home Reef'. A pleasant little reef, which took us down to a maximum of 20m. There were plenty of the usual fish to see here, and we were fortunate enough to find quite a large octopus, which - sadly, remained secreted in its hidey-hole in the sea bed.
A very relaxed 45 minute dive in 18°C waters.
