I JUST bought the 2024 CRV Sport L yesterday (March 2). I cannot tell you how helpful this video - and your other videos - was in understanding all the features. Thank you!
Congratulations on your new Honda and thank you so much for your support! If you like to go above and beyond to truly help me out. You can mention (Crazy Honda Chris) in a five-star Google review. WOW -- bought this vehicle last week and would not have had any idea of all these features and settings -- and there was no way I was going to dig all this out of the 700 page manual. Thanks so much -- will be referring back to this over time and going straight to the sections I need.
Congratulations on your new Honda CRV and thank you so much for your kind words and support. I also have a vehicle settings video for the same vehicle, encourage you to check that out if you haven't. Just picked up a fully loaded 2025 crv sport touring from you guys on monday for the wife and now i see you on here… lol… was really nice doing business with you guys…
This Sport-L is the perfect balance for people who don’t want to spend a lot for the Touring, but want a little bit more than the Sport. The new CR-V is a much needed upgrade from the previous generation! If I was on the market for an SUV, this would definitely be on the top of my list.
The Sport L has all the features I want instead of opting for the more expensive Touring model. Love the CRV! currently own a 2022 Honda Insight but my next vehicle will be the CRV. Thanks for going over everything! Helps us make a more informed decision
We have a 2022 CRV. I’m so glad we bought it before the redesigned 2023. The newly designed CRV is too square and is boxier than it should be. I have test driven the 2024 CRV HYBRID SPORT-L. It drives very smoothly but I just don’t like the squareness. But to each their own.

THAT'S IT!... Nothing more to think about again... I'm gonna order this CR-V in this same color. Thank you for making my choice easy for me. It's a 3-month waiting period because of the demand where I am, but it's worth it!

This was an EXCELLENT in-depth look at everything to do with this car...I couldn't decide on which model to purchase and your insight helped me understand that the Hybrid Sport-L is the right model for me and my family. Thank you very much!

One tip about the seat adjustment, pull up on the front and rear sides of the horizontal adjuster at the same time and seat rises straight up! Push down on both at the same time and seat goes straight down. Very nice feature.
This is a great video to introduce new owners to their new CR-V. You could actually set them down in one of the offices and play this if you're juggling a few customers or it's raining outside. It's a completely different CR-V than the one I had, but I can practically smell that new Honda smell. In all likelihood, the 2025 year model will be better, and the 2026 will be better than the 2025. With Honda committed to improving their products year over prior year, you just have to commit to getting on the ride at some point.
I agree! I create these video with the intent for those that are considering or after making their purchase. There's a lot to cover within newer vehicles these days. Thank you so much for your support and kind words!! I'm glad that I could help from the distance and made sure that you comfortable with your new Honda. I purchased because of the beauty of it. I have always had a Honda something. While I am satisfied, I miss a few key features. I have the sport touring. There is no button for the garage and I find the cup holders to be a bit smaller than my previous Hondas. Other than those two things, I am satisfied

Great video Chris, I watched it fully. I have a question in regard to the center console. I just traded in my 2023 CRV EXL which had a small plastic tray that sat on the top of the console. My 2024 Sport L didn’t have that in it. Are all of the Sport L models coming without that or did they forget to put mine in?

Thanks for creating wonderful videos. I have a quick question. My Honda crv sports hybrid 2024 is 6-7 months old but it's mileage has gone down from 37-38 mpg to 32 mpg. Is it due to heating or any other reasons??
I mean from the L trim to the Touring. I watched that video, but we are going to Honda today to look at the L. They don’t have the touring and money isn’t an issue for me. I want to get your thoughts on what you like, if you had to choose. You’ve been inside both. What car is a better option and should I go with the L or should I wait for the touring. Another question, I know the touring has the Bose system and the L has 240 watt I believe. Does it sound much different or is there a significant difference in feel when listening to music meaning the immersive feeling and quality. I love music but do they sound much different ?
Thank you so much. I also have a vehicle settings video here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gtMM-gON-9w.htmlsi=PFf7rOl-hhIZbU2F if you're interested.
I love this question and plan on doing a video once I have both available. The upgrades are the following Adds to or upgrades Sport-L Hybrid features: -Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System is standard. -Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with voice recognition and Honda HD Digital Traffic -HondaLink subscription services -Wi-Fi hotspot capability -Bose premium sound system with 12 speakers, including subwoofer -Heated steering wheel -Rain-sensing windshield wipers -Hands-free access power tailgate with programmable height -19-inch gloss black alloy wheels P235/55 R19 all-season tires
I did not understand the part where we leave the keys inside the car and walk away. What happens if I forgot them in the car and did not notice if the car is locked? DId Honda accounted for this scenario because if someone else notices the car keys he can simply open the door. I know its not clever and not responsive enough but just curious to know.
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 could you please help me with this. I am talking to couple of dealerships on buying a honda crv hybrid sport and 1 is 2024 FWD with blind spot and other is 2023 AWD with out blind spot and 2024 fwd is costing 1800 more , not sure which to choose, any suggestions please..??
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 What regulations are we talking about? I understand the transfer of the title and taxes. I just want to broaden my knowledge a bit. You said you're in Iowa correct?
I'm still confused why Honda limited the CR-V hybrids to Sports models after offering it across the model line up for higher models in 2022 and prior years. I would rather have an EX-L than Sport-L since I'm not a big fan of black wheels.
I feel honda is making the best trims only on Hybrid forcing people to get those because the turbo gas are so poorly made everyone is In love with Sport Touring version but not one is talking about have this car for 20 years what’s gonna happen after 200K miles the battery is gonna still working or not? What is gonna be the cost for replacing if the car is not in Honda Coverage? Is so frustrating i have the civic touring hatchback 2020 i now is time to upgrade I don’t wanna have a lease again renting a car is not make sense I want financing but is so hard to make the decision because i love this model but I don’t want hybrid 🫤🫠🙄 if i get the gas version im gonna get the ugly want also have hybrid but not having space for spare tire on? Seriously?
I can understand and appreciate that. American Honda and the other brands are trying to push more towards Hybrid sales as they are being pushed to create more Hybrids as well.
The other markets/regions have to create to accommodate their consumers' needs and wants. I just don't have an answer why they do it differently. Canadian models also have a slight difference
I think you are doing a great job CHC! So much details on what can be a confusing process. You have the option of pause and rewind on each of the videos.
No spare tire AGAIN for the 2024? 8:25 Toyota has been already able to do this. Why can’t Honda figure it out? I’ll still go with the non-hybrid version of the CR-V but goddamn that’s disappointing. But it looks like I’m going to have to stay on normally aspirated engines for a while. All the hybrids have that louder-than engine noise beeps when you backup. Honda and Toyota hybrids are the only ones that have the pleasant backup sounds, super sad, and Honda can’t seem to figure out how to add spare tires to their hybrids lmao. And that green fix a flat goo isn’t going to do a damn thing for y’all, trust me. If you blow a tire, you’re screwed. Hell, even if you got a flat, you’re screwed. It’s totally not worth it if you’re stranded in hazardous weather conditions that can kill you (nearly happened to me). The new car market is overpriced and maybe lost its quality due to the pandemic. I’m returning my shitty 2023 RAV4 hybrid because I got a lemon, literally nothing works on that car like it’s supposed to. I’ll still go with Honda, but if that NEW car also has problems, I’ll never buy new again.
We bought a 2022 Honda CRV and am so glad we did. Because the redesigned CRV is absolutely ugly. It’s too square and has no sporty look to it. I’m not saying it doesn’t drive good, because I’ve test drove the CRV HYBRID SPORT-L. They need to change the design soon. I live in Orlando and you rarely see a new CRV on the road. There are a lot of KIA’s and Hyundai’s which I personally wouldn’t buy. I’m looking at buying an Accord Hybrid Sport because the CRV is ugly to me. To each their own.
