all the adversity d live faced as a freshman, what he’s been through with his family, his nba journey, to see him back at duke coaching up khaman, so FFFFing proud of this kid.
What I loved most about this video was Scheyer demanding that Maluach get the ball, and telling the team that doing so would open up the entire offense. Khaman is this season’s Clingan. And he makes Duke’s defense better than Houston’s. And I haven’t even mentioned Cooper Flagg yet.
thats whats the brotherhood is all about, a guy like lively coming back and not only being able to help the young guys like that but to want to in the first place.
I still can't believe the 2018-19 team didn't win it all. They beat all 4 of the final 4 teams during the regular season. Beat nat'l champ UVA twice. That one still really stings.
I love the Scheyer micd up segments. I understand we can't do it during the season cuz we could expose our gameplans but we need more of it. Loved D Live coaching up Khaman, a true student of the game.
Lively must be living with Tyson Chandler man. Love to see it i swear. Also bet the house on Duke winning the chip this year this team has zero flaws from what i seen
Buddy Sean and TJ werent ready to play last year until late February. Jons not scared to play guys, he ran a 8 man rotation his 1st year that were getting starter minutes.
I'm Australian, so I'm not a Duke fan OR a Mavericks fan.... but Lively is so easy to cheer for. I could tell leading up to the draft how intelligent Lively is.... but watching him coaching the finer details with Khaman is really impressive for someone his age. He's very mature, and exemplifies the phrase "wise beyond his years". He's such a likeable dude. I hope Tyrese Proctor has a great season and finally shows what he's capable of at the college level. I've had high hopes for Tyrese for many years, he just needs to get his confidence back! Before he got to Duke, he looked destined for greatness.... so I hope he regains some of that confidence and shows what he can do consistently.
Yes. Watching Scheyers podcast episode with Jay Bilas he was very passionate about pushing the team hard this season. It really explained why Mark, TJ, Sean, Jerm, Etc trasnferred. Scheyer loves competition and he said from now on he only gonna be recruiting guys who compete and he gonna bring in transfers who do the same thing.
Would Former DUKE Players that Transferred Out of the Program Ever Be Welcomed Back to these DUKE Brotherhood Events? Players like Joey Baker, Jordan Goldwire, Alex O’Connell, Jeremy Roach or Mark Mitchell.
What i love about Kon is that he is so coachable u can take the message and implement into the game coach said throw the lob and Foster still didn’t do it, Kon slowed his pace and made the lob pass i love this team
Malauch must stay out of foul trouble! He deletes everything 😂 this team can be special they got the pieces possibly be one of the best defensive teams in the country. My only concern is low post presence when shots from perimeter ain’t falling who do we go to get a bucket to keep the offense afloat during stretches in games?
Man what? C Well has done a great job every year with our bigs. J Robs a great addition as well he a student of the game, his dads a HOFer he grew up in a system.
Lively is awful! Free throw percentage 50.6!!! Had his starting role TAKEN!! Dukes greatest pro is grant hill. They do not produce great nba players. Duke has NEVER produced an nba mvp. Zion “mr I stay injured” Williams could be behind or pass grant IF HEALTHY!! Flagg should have gone to UConn.
