What do you recommend about the vibrato in this etude and the lyrical one? How often should it be used in those two pieces?? Your videos are so helpful!!!!!
@@TboneIliyas thank you! Glad to hear it! It’s good to have a balance between using/not using vibrato, especially in Etude #2. For long notes, I recommend introducing the note with no vibrato at first, then adding it as you go through the note. Make sure you’re thinking jaw vibrato and not air. Hope this helps!
Wow this pretty good! Way better than me my sophomore year but maybe if I practiced that for a couple hours I could possibly get maybe close enough to your skill at that piece. There was a single part in there that wasn’t perfect which I’ve like never seen before and that’s when you have a change from 4th to 3rd position and the notes sounded almost the same. One super slight mistake on that piece is ridiculous
That was a test! 😂 Jkjk. I think I know where you’re talking about. Goes to show how quick you have to move the slide! When making these recordings, you learn to live with those super small things occasionally happening, or else you’ll drive yourself crazy lol. Good eye/ear!
