Nice quick to the point video. I didn't hear much on stack height or heel drop specs. I've never owned any Altas so forgive my ignorance. Do all the Altas that you reviewed have the attributes of a minimalist shoe, with the wide toe box, and zero drop?
The Altra Provision is considered a mid cushion stability shoe. it has a singular guide rail on the medial side (area by your arch) great shoe for overpronating, vs the Paradigm which is a max cushion stability shoe. The Paradigm has a guide rail on both the medial and lateral side which helps with both overpronation or supination. The Paradigm also is on the wider side of sizing it has more space for a higher volume foot.
We left the Racer 2 off because it fits the same as the Escalante 4. It has two fewer millimeters of stack height and a more breathable upper than the 4, but the overall fit and width are the same.
