A first look at a remarkable trip to the heart of the Amazon in Brazil coordinated with our good friend Jim Shrock and Bucket List Fly Fishing. We took an amazing group of anglers and explored the upper reaches of the Xeruini River. Water levels were low concentrating fish but also making navigation of the camp up impossible. A small band of our crew set out to fish in an area that rarely sees anglers. Boats were loaded with camping and fishing gear for a 2 day exploratory trip sleeping in the jungle. What we found exceeded expectations with numbers and size of fish. The camp staff and guide team went above and beyond on this trip and for this we are all very thankful.
